The food was very good. The service was excellent, and the people who run it are extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend it for the view, and food.Food: 5/5

Louisiana inspired flavors and cuisine. Not a huge menu, but everything we tried was delicious. We had the jambalaya, shrimp bisque, dirty fries, blackened fish po boy, and seafood fritters. Our mouths and bellies were very happy. Can’t say enough about the friendly service and atmosphere. These people seem to really love their product and want you to enjoy it as well. Highly recommend.

Love the menu. We had the salad with blackened red snapper (very spicy!) and the shrimp po boy (very fresh and tasty). The bread comes from a bakery in New Orleans and adds excellent flavor. The olive tapenade was delicious. Definitely worth ordering. I loved the flavor of the jambalaya but wish it was more spicy. We were told they dialed it back a little to cater to more people. If I find myself back in Crescent City, we will absolutely visit again.

This is hands down the best restaurant we've experienced in Crescent City! We tried the fritters, fries, Jambalaya and today's special (blackened scallops and grits) and the food was absolutely delicious! Well cooked, well seasoned, and would give any Jambalaya ive ever had in California or Louisiana a run for its money! We are seriously impressed woth the chef here. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes on the menu. Plus the staff was super nice, just a really grateful experience overall!!

What to do in Southern Oregon

What a surprise to find such great Cajun food in Crescent City. The Jambalaya has a nice spice, and the Fish and Chips were delicious with fantastic house made tartar sauce. You must get the Boudin Balls for an appetizer, so good we wanted to order another plate. They also have an ice cream counter so save room for dessert.

The fish and chips was very good. The cod was super fresh, and the hint of Cajun spice on the fries was tasty. I do wish it had come with coleslaw. We also got peal-and-eat shrimp. We were surprised that they were served hot (and with Cajun spice). They were delicious tho.Ordering online was easy and straightforward. The wait was only 13 minutes.

We were able to walk here from our Best Western Plus hotel right across from Crescent a city Harbor on 101.

Best jambalaya outside of New Orleans. The place was busy when we arrived but got seated right away. Our server was fantastic, the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

I had a wonderful visit at House of Jambalaya! Not only is their gluten free Jambalaya INCREDIBLE, they offer other gluten free options and the most delicious cider I’ve ever tasted (honey from Humboldt). The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is cozy, and during their busy dinner service the owner stopped to talk with me about how this restaurant was her and her husband’s dream. They opened a few days before COVID shut businesses down and I am so thankful they made it through because these kind folks are doing amazing things for their community. Support local business, pay them a visit! P.S. I got my order to go, so the picture does not quite represent the presentation.

Great spot for lunch and hang by the beach. Best jambalaya my husband and I have had, has a great little spicy kick. Beers and ice cream were good too! Super easy and open parking

This was the perfect place for us to have dinner the night before we headed back to the high desert. I had hoped for a place that had views of the ocean and you can't get much better than the views from here! We started with a couple beers - I went with a local Seaquake IPA while my husband ordered a bottle of Elysian Space Dust IPA. When the server told me they ship bread in from Louisiana for their Po' Boys, I knew that was what I wanted to try! So I ordered one with Blackened Shrimp and it was delicious! My husband ordered the Jambalaya because, well, if it's part of the restaurant name it must be good! We both were very happy with our meals, the great service, and beautiful views! We would definitely come back!
