Got a cream puff here. It’s pretty good. Probably will come back and try the other flavors.

Homeboy at the front was hustling hard.It was near closing and he took care of 3 families that were in front of my party like a champ. They didn't have a lot available due to the time of day.But we received the vanilla and matcha filling in regular puffs.Family loved and fought over them. Will return, hoping to try more flavors.

My favorite Choux Cream shop since it came to the US 10+ years ago. It used to be pricey but now that everything is expensive, the dessert here now feels worth the taste and quality. What I enjoyed the most though is the chocolate fondant. The decadent, intense, and liquid centered chocolate cake is difficult to resist. I am still a fan and buy whenever I get a chance til these days.

This review is about a year late.We went in early afternoon. Smells lovely in store and around outside it, but cream puffs were dry, a bit eggy, and the fresh cream filling doesn't taste nearly as delicious as those found in South Korea and Japan. Overall we were disappointed with the taste. Better to savor them overseas instead of over hyped try hards though no offense to them trying to simulate the original taste. One visit was enough, not good enough for a 2nd visit.

Simple, fresh cream puffs quickly prepared. Prices are reasonable but if you get a stale puff it's not very good. The icing flavors are easily overwhelmed by the cream, I wish matcha was baked into the whole bun.

No doubt that their cream puffs are the best. Just that the website is never accurate on what they have in store and whats not. There’s a few times I ordered something and paid but they said they don’t have them when I went to pick up the food, even when the store just opened. I had to take something else instead, which is kind of disappointing.

We loved these cream puffs and would definitely go again! We got the original and cookie with vanilla filling because we have never had this dessert before. We were worried the cream would be heavy but it was very light! The cream inside reminded us of melted ice cream but fluffy if that makes sense. It's a light dessert, definitely order one per person.

I forgot to mention that I have to order mini puffs. The staff was nice to redo the order without any hesitation. Also there was not much waiting. The order was done very fast and I was out in no time. The place is nicely maintained with good ambiance.

* Oreo ice cream cream puff - 4 starsLike! Logistically much easier than an ice cream cookie sandwich. * Chocolate cream puff with matcha filling - 3.5 starsAlso enjoyed, although the matcha was a bit artificial tasting.* Strawberry shortcake cream puff with vanilla filling - 4 starsWhat can I say, my daughter enjoyed this!

15+ years; longer than most bakeries. I remember the hype when they first opened. Can smell the egg choux pastry for the shell as you open the door. Original+Vanilla still the most popular. Have to eat it fresh. The moisture from the cream quickly turns the crunchy pastry soggy. Not too sweet. Copied the Japanese flavor exactly. Definitely less sweet than the American style of cake and donut fillings. More like a cream custard than a super sweet topping. Came in for one, left after eating 3. Matcha+Vanilla. Kids were kind enough to let me sample a lemon. Lemon is slightly tangy. Can taste the freshness of the lemon. Like a mild lemon drop candy flavor. Forgot how good they were. Surprised they lasted 15+ years.Kids working there are the best I have seen in any FF place in years. They are a cut above the typical FF worker with angry indifference. I would go back just to go visit them. Good parents. Refreshing to see.

Beard Papa has always been my favorite cream puff place in the Bay! I would recommend the Cupertino location as I never had any issues with consistency in the cream puff shell itself and the custard filling. Their vanilla custard never misses, it's delicious, just the right amount of sweetness!

Nice puff pastry with some crispiness on the outside and soft on the inside. You can't go wrong with the original puffs; you can get them with any filling. Service is very quick; someone fills your puff right as you order and you get it within 30 seconds. I just wish they were more consistent with the filling, as seen in my photos one had a lot more filling than the other.
