Food was OK. We ordered the noodles. Didn't try the self serve hot pot menu. Staff were friendly and courteous. Interesting furniture.

Ordered Laziji to go, too much msg, spices taste old, not as good as Local Chengdu.Hmart and Ranch 99 now sell many kinds of fresh noodles, making cooking noodles soup at home quite easy and cheap.Restaurants should make more complex noodle soup or fry / grill dishes to attract customers.

Delicious options. Just be careful when choosing your spiciness. It's actually really spicy.Vegetarian options: You can just pick your veggies and pay by the weight.

Dry pot is pleasantly spicy. The price is on the higher end if ingredients are custom picked.

This review is only for their mala xiang guo and not their regular menu items.I've been here twice now, both times for their ma la xiang guo (or dry hot pot). Their flavor is very yummy and authentic but the price is quite high for how simple the meal is (around $30 per person depending on how much you eat). How to order:They have two large fridges along the back wall: one for meats and another for veggies. Grab two buckets and tongs to grab whatever ingredients you want from that wall. You pay based on the weight of your ingredients and meats and veggies are weighed separately because they have different $/lb. Choose a spice level (no spice, mild, medium, or very spicy) and they're stir fry everything you picked together with their flavoring. If you have somewhat low spice tolerance like me (I typically get mild-medium for a Korean tofu soup), mild will definitely be spicy enough. I went with a group that ordered two orders of no spice and mild, and I was eating equally from both and scarfing down a lot of rice haha.As a Chinese speaker, I found the staff friendly and attentive to our needs. They have a lot of seating so this would be a great place for bringing a large party, as long as people in your party can agree on spice since this is definitely something you share.

SERVICE IS SO BADDDDD. So rude and yelling at the customer. Food is ok. Just rushing for reason and so impatient.

On the pricier end but at least they separate the vegetable prices from the meat prices - 15.99/lb for veggies and 19.99/lb for meat. Quite a lot of vegetables but they might be cooked in the same pot as meat eventually, so keep this in mind if it's something you are concerned about.Vegetarian options: Not sure if the meat and vegetables are cooked in the same broth/pot.

Very authentic mala hotpot. You can pick and choose what to put in your bowl so it's perfectly customized. I get Medium spicy every time and it's manageable with the amount of rice they give!FOOD [5/5]-----------+ Use a separate bowl for meat and a separate bowl for veggies when picking raw items! + Medium spicy is VERY spicy (especially with the mala numbing spice). + Options for meat include raw beef, lamb, squid, spam, fish balls, imitation crab, and many others. Options for veggies include watercress (tong ho), lotus root, mushrooms, bok choy, and many others. SERVICE [5/5]-------------Service is more on the traditional side (quick and minimal effort) but friendly.

A heads up you need two bins to separate meats and vegetables. Really struggled figuring that out with my limited Chinese but thankfully the people there were really nice and helped along the way. Our dry pot for two people ended up about $50 before tip. Food was decent and truly much more spicy than alot of places. Would come here again :)

You get to pick and choose which veggies and protein you want. Pay by the pound They have duck blood here, which is one of my favorite things ever, so much better than pork blood It can get expensive if you're just tossing whatever you want into the container for them to cook, but it's still worth Downside is that their seasoning is so salty, so you gotta eat a lot of rice to balance it out but my fam keeps coming back here bc it's still so good On another trip, we got one of their duck blood dishes which was so yummy. Not as flavorful/salty as the dry pot though. Got their couple's beef/delight as well which is a staple for us

My friend took me there for a DIY dry pot when I was visiting and I keep thinking about that place ever since. It is not a large place and the service could be better. There was only one server. There are different meat, seafood, veggies, sausages, meatballs and noodles displayed in the fridge that you can pick for your dry pot. The cost will be based on the weight. You can also pick spice level. We chose medium and it got us sweating although we can handle quite a bit of spice. The flavors were spot on and you can actually taste the spices and not just get only numbness you normally get from dry pots.I have been craving for that dry pot ever since and I will definitely go get if when I'm in the area!

The place looks like a whole in the wall type of place as some longer in business places might. (we don't know how long has it been there) we were suspicious however still wanted to give it a try..It turned out that the food wasn't fresh, the taste was subpar; the service? Oh my, Virtually not there and can quickly turn into attacking mode if you dare to question anything.
