The jasmine milk tea with half sugar was a bit bitter...I put a packet of sugar in it when I got home and it was much better.

Ive been to tenren many times, but I tried the taro green tea and it was terrible. I surprised how bad it was, I've never had a boba this bad. I had 50% sugar, but even after adding more sugar it still has this lingering aftertaste that was unpleasant.

My friend recommended this tea place and finally got to try it. You can tell it's good tea quality at a decent price. I tried their brown sugar boba tea and it's good. The boba was soft the way I like it. I am yet to try other flavors, but will surely add this to my list of reliable boba tea places. Good tea is the key, not being overpowered by milk.

Drinks are usually very good and much cheaper than other alternative boba places. I don't think any other place has green milk tea that actually has a green tea taste; most other places' drinks just taste like creamer. My one complaint: those young girls who are always screaming while working are too loud. They're always yelling out some song or yelling some other random abomination. I swear there's always a crowd of people waiting when they're working too. Not because there's a lot of customers at once, but because their screaming lowers the throughput of the drinks and the throughput of the other workers.
I got the 913 Oolong this time at 25% ice and 50% sweetness with boba and I thought it wasn't that strong in tea flavor. Pretty weak this time. Lots of boba covering almost 1/3 of the cup. I don't know if this was just an off day but even the boba didn't have much sweetness to it. Texture wise, the boba was great. Next time, I'd just go with the pu err tea as that one's fantastic.

They don’t have goji berries in their honey chrysanthemum tea like the other location in Milpitas does, which was a bummer. The tea did taste good though

Received a text along the lines of "it's been a while come back and get BOGO deal" Was totally baited. Went in store and was told offer was not available to me. I purchased a drink anyways since it took me a while to drive there but feeling very disappointed as that was really dirty of Ten Ren to trick me into coming back for business.
