The food was okay. Without the bbq sauce it didn't really have much flavor. DO NOT GET THE MAC & CHEESE!! It was very very mushy, it was almost like puréed for a baby. I ended up throwing it away and made Kraft Mac & cheese. I ordered it for my birthday, it didn't hit the spot but at least I'm not hungry anymore :( The ice for the drink was top tier though lol

The one in Vacaville is awesome! The Davis location... Not so much. They don't appear to ever be busy enough to have fresh, hot food ready for service. Several visits included a few of the meats "sold out" or unavailable. That's unacceptable at a place focused on and with barbecue pit in the name. I only go back for the fried okra. The food here has always been perfectly fine, but our recent delivery orders have been lacking. The first order left out our ribs. I called, and the shift supervisor, Gigi, was very apologetic and offered us double what we'd ordered if we came in to pick it up. My wife took them up on the offer and picked it up the next day on her way home from work. Granted, this didn't do us much good for the previous night.
