Place is great now that it’s been re-purposed sable views out the back, which is nothing to complain about atmosphere is a heck of a lot better than it used to be. Looks like they’ve cleaned up the place a lot.

Had the best birthday dinner. The fried Zuchinin is amazing! The scallop potatoes on point. The ladies in the kitchen definitely killed it. The server was amazing too. All together a great meal and a great time!

The atmosphere and service were great, but unfortunately, the food was very bland. The philly cheesesteak sandwich had no flavor and came with canned nacho cheese on it. The menu is completely different now and the restaurant is under new ownership.

Came here on Wednesday, 10/12, and had an overcooked, well-done prime rib dip sandwich. While I was eating I read on the menu about the M-F, 2pm-6pm happy hour, and decided to come back on Friday (today) for a happy hour fishbowl and to give the food another try... but the doors are locked and the OPEN sign isn't lit up ??♂️ So much for the 2pm-6pm happy hour.

Very nice looking place. Took about an hour to get food and drinks. 5 tables, maybe 20 people there. Had to go hunting for our drinks. Ordered a simple sandwich. Every time the waiter came out they were out of something else. Ended up giving me something I didn't even order. Soggy toast. Dry chicken. Lettuce. Other people's food was ok. Go to jack in the box the food is much better and you won't wait an hour to get it For that price range In that area I expected at least basic service. I guess the bartender and cook were both on vacation or called in sick. Won't go back. Avoid it. Either incredibly lazy or incredibly incompetent. Either way ruined my lunch.

This is the first time we've been here. My grandparents are visiting from Germany and don't know much English but the staff were very understanding of that. I'm vegetarian and got the nachos but when they came out they had chicken on them. Our waitress made sure to take them back as soon as anyone said it and was very sweet. There aren't many vegetarian/vegan options so I wouldn't recommend you go there if you are, but overall it was a good place with a good vibe.
Spinach dip was pretty awesome. Could have been served with more interesting bread or chips but the flavor of the actual dip was great. Everything else we tried... Meh. Decent but not amazing.

Been boating over to here since 2018 … to say the least it has slowly over time gone down h. Today was terrible. Appetizers over cooked, meat on entrees not seasoned and draft beer not cold. Shrimp cocktail absolutely disappointing.

This place is trash every since the new owner took over it has gone downhill it's a graveyard of a restaurant we waited an hour and a 1/2 to get uncooked shrimp as an appetizer an hour and a 1/2 later they were not even busy I cannot believe me and my family actually came here again we gave them a second chance and they failed yet again our server on the other hand the blonde girl with the nose piercing was fantastic

Fire the cook. Food was horrible and not restaurant worthy. Please hire someone who actually knows how to actually cook and cares enough to serve the discovery bay community with dignity. What a sad serving of dishes, I feel like the cook was cooking with a training manual without guidance of an actual cook. Don't need the pictures, just look at everyone else's. C'mon Ron and Sandy, come up with a better system for your cooks. Completely unacceptable coming from a former cook at a local American restaurant in Stockton. The rest of the staff however are very nice and attentive. Great customer service. But the food needs work if this business is going to last the next 3-5 years. Especially at a location such as the boardwalk. What a shame.

I'm giving 1 star for the location and our very sweet but overworked server. I brought my family here for my mom's birthday and I couldn't be more embarrassed that I did. There was a nasty smell, like old grease, when you first walked in. They were out of a ton of things, including lemonade, sourdough and onion rings. The kids chicken strips looked and tasted as appetizing as the chicken in my Caesar salad...like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 3 hrs. There was a hair on my bread and at that point I was just DONE. A $200 bill and 75% of the food we ordered was still sitting in the table when we left. Do yourself a favor and don't come hungry...it's a great place to have a beer I guess.
