I was hopeful to find a casual, family-friendly spot for us. It was family-friendly, and the service was great. But the food was really pretty bad. There was something off about everything we had - my spouse was even relieved when he bit into bones in the fish and chips so that he knew it was real fish. They say there is a "kids" menu and you can order anything off the menu and it will be a smaller portion and cheaper. My two year old ordered the Mac n cheese for himself (which he did not eat because it was really pretty gross) and they brought a full portion for full price, I guess bc we didn't specify but I would assume that a two year old ordering would have made that obvious. Burger tasted weird, was dry. Fries were fine. Also, it was oddly empty on a Saturday and one of the two people drinking at the bar was staff.

1st here last time here. Owner is super rude. Order was was wrong and food was not worth the price. Paid for things we didn't order. Overall don't be fooled by the modern name this place is just average food and average beer and super disorganized. Ambiance is outdated and needs to be refreshed. Trust the bad reviews in this case.

Friendly staff and prompt service. My boyfriend said his Burnt Ends sandwich was "beautiful ". I wish they could add a vegan sandwich to their menu: roaated veg and hummus or grilled veg and vegen pesto perhaps.

THE CORNED BEEF IS RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. We had an excellent pale ale and red ale. My girlfriend loved her quesadilla, and the corned beef sandwich I had was insane. They corn their own beef, make their own thousand island. Maybe the best I've ever had?Vegetarian options: There are some veggie options.

The owners are a joke and don’t treat their staff fairly. I’ve been coming here for about 10 yrs now and if I see the old fat guy behind the bar I turn around and leave. Not really interested in giving them my hard earned money any longer. Too bad, the location is close to my house and I love trying new craft beers

Calm atmosphere with a excellent craft brew list. The food is your typical pub fair with elevated notes of flavor. Service is attentive. Your neighborhood brew pub.

Beers are decent. Kolsch is pretty good. Food is subpar. Service can be rude. Wish there were more breweries in south Richmond. Will keep searching.
Lovely place to hang out with friends. Great beer and lovely food. We shared:- burger- Ruben sando- Cuban sando- crab cakesWe paired our meals with different sides too. Food was lovely. Service was friendly and warm. Can't think of a better reason to come back. Lovely time in El Cerrito.

This used to be a very good place. Maybe just today the owners and had a bad day. When we arrive every table is empty yet owner challenges us because we want to six at 2 tables as we have party of 6. Burgers overcooked. Sent back and still done wrong. Cold fries. The cook looked like a 16 year old and untrained yet owners left him on his own (felt sorry for him). Also hallway to bathroom a mess. Trash and smelly. 2 stars because beer was good.
