Nori Roll is a great family owned sushi restaurant that I am very happy to have called my “local sushi spot” while I lived in El Cerrito area. The rolls taste fantastic and the fish is fresh. Their tuna and Hamachi dishes were our favorites!A couple of notes: It’s a family run business, and the restaurant is incredibly popular in the evenings during dinner time. They at times are overwhelmed with the number of orders. I’m mentioning this because you must know to have *Patience* when doing takeaway/takeout during peak hours. I’ve seen some very hangry people treat them poorly, and it’s sad because they do not deserve it.

This is your go-to local spot for takeout sushi. They don’t have a dining area. Everything tasted fresh and the family-run business offers great service. I made a mistake with the pick up time for my order so I ended up showing up 30 min early. They were able to prioritize my order and even gave my son some edamame while we were waiting. I really appreciated the warm gesture and them going above and beyond. Food did not disappoint either. I recommend this place for anyone near El Cerrito for takeout sushi.Parking: On-site parking available.

Not sure what people expect for such an amazing sushi price, but this little place was great. Got the 49er roll, ingredients fresh (I mean, the fish wasn't bursting with high end sushi flavor but it wasn't at all fishy or off, it tasted fine). Fast service, eat in car.
Absolutely amazing service. They're truly the nicest people, and I absolutely love their sushi and teriyaki bowls. I haven't found another place where I can find as good of a teriyaki bowl as theirs.
