One star is even too much. Customer service is horrible. Food is horrible. No ambiance. This Subway sucks.

Always fresh and healthy (sort of) if nitrates in the meats isn't a concern, but I love subway especially the meat lovers on 6in Italian herb bread, and the breads are the best part of

Ate the meatball sandwich on 5/10/23 at 1pm. By 4pm i had a fever, aches and pain, was vomiting and had diarrhea. It is 5/13/23 and I am still sick. DO NOT eat here.

This location has fine service and the sandwiches meet expectations but they no longer accept the coupons we get in the mail. Without the coupon, the prices are terrible. If I'm going to spend ten bucks on a sandwich, I'd much rather go to a place like Mr. Pickles.

I was here a few weeks ago and pleasantly surprised they were taking coupons. Visted 3 times in 10 days. They are now back to not taking coupons and I am lunching elsewhere. Choices have consequences.

This is not a review of the food at all, but 100% about the service. Today I walked in the store at 10:20 am and ordered a footlong and when the sub was made I presented a coupon that came to my mailbox. The female employee said that they do not accept coupons because they are not a participating restaurant. That is fine, it is their right not to participate but it should be stated somewhere before you get to the cash register for payment. The other subway on San Pablo Avenue in El Cerrito is also non-participating restaurant but there is a sign stating that right at the beginning of the order line and it is clear. The problem with this restaurant is that I have use coupons here many times and as recently as last week. So it must be something new or she was lying. Very often the workers here lie about not having cucumbers. They keep the sliced cucumbers out of sight in a fridge behind the food counter. The employee behind the counter was very rude and shouting while constantly interrupting when I wanted to ask a question. In general the stuff here is poorly trained in customer service. About a year ago one the the female workers told me that the owner is asking them to lie about cucumbers and accepting coupons. She said that he was very stingy and that is why I really don't blame the workers. They are trying to keep their jobs and follow the boss' orders. I walked out without buying the sub and she had to throw it away but would not give me the $2.40 discount. I have done that in the past too at this place when they refuse coupons but it is not clearly stated until it is payment time. Sometimes they take it and other times they say that they don't. The coupon was NOT being used for one of the excluded subs. Poor management terrible ownership in the Mahal style. Stay away from this place and spend your money elsewhere.

This Subway has been quick, friendly, and I have no complaints. I work down the street and this is sometimes my lunch choice and each time the ingredients have been fresh.

I went to this subway location for lunch yesterday and a young lady by the name of Ranjita help me, she was very polite and patient as I scrambled for enough change to pay for what I need it feeling embarrassed yet relieved that she was patient, professional, and very sweet. The great customer service was really appreciated being that I was having a difficult day thank you Ranjita.

Standard Subway, but an $18 sandwich? You can't tell me that there is a return on investment, yikes.
