The mango cake was the bomb. Everyone loved it at my teenage son's birthday party and asked where I got it! But the store is nothing like a regular bakery. Very humble place but the custom made sheet cake was so worth the try!

Buy here every year for my daughters birthday. I always order just the top tier tres leches plain as I decorate it my self and make the bottom layer. I have never payed more than $35 for an 8 inch cake which has never been too small for the top tier of my two layer cake. This year I decided to just buy the two tiers from them to save time, Unbuilt. I went in to inquire just two PLAIN UNDECORATED CAKES (8in and 12in). And the guy started drawing the tiers. I told him no need as I decorate and assemble it my self. But tell me why as soon as he knew I do that myself he quoted me over $250 for just TWO UNDECORATED CAKES!! How does that math add up? I've come here for 5 years in a row and now I will never come again due to the ridiculous up charge once they know you're going for a two tier cake.

When I say TC Bakery has the best cakes. They have the best cakes. I'm very selective when it comes to cakes because although everything looks good they're not always good. TC has been in El Monte for many years and is still in business. They have some of the best selections in cakes. They are a family owned business and their service is great. The quality of their products is excellent. The location is a small bakery with a certain selection of single slice cakes for sale. I first tried their Black Forest cake a few years back and that is my number one cake but only from TC Bakery no one else does it like them. They have this delicious chocolate bread that I've only had from them. Till this day I don't think anyone has been able to tell me otherwise. The place is very welcoming and they're open 7 days a week. They don't have a seating area to eat but they are very clean and well organized. Definitely giving them 10 because they deserve it. Please stop by and show some love and support. They are the best Bakery in El Monte.

This is my favorite cake for birthdays! I am so happy I found a bakery near my new home. I decided on the day I needed the cake to search and found it! I called and asked if they had some ready they said no but they only needed 2-3 hours to get it ready. That worked perfect for me. The bakery was easy to find in a shopping center with a north gate grocery store with plenty of free parking. The cake was delicious not too sweet nice fresh fruit and a flaky middle. This mil hojas cake is different but everyone love it! I will definitely be back for my next celebration.

I have been coming here over 9 years already and it's been the best place to buy a cake I moved now and I still make a trip to go to this place it's about an hour and a half away and I don't mind the drive. Thank you so much for your great service and I always make a call at the last minute and he still manages to make my cakes. Highly recommend them!!!!!!
