I've been meaning to visit for a long time but life got in the way. I had some business that took me to downtown el segundo and made a pit stop for the cookie monster cupcake. I definitely enjoyed the selection of cookie monster, strawberry and a ding dong like cupcake. I'm glad to have finally tried this bakery and I like the size and nostalgic taste of these cupcakes. Move over Sprinkles, I may have a new favorite...PS My dogs are fans of their pupcakes.
Delicious! My favorite was the strawberry. I had the birthday cake, strawberry, and vanilla. My husband devoured one so fast I didn't even take note of what it was. I want to say it was red velvet. I got them for his birthday and he had first dibs. They are big and fluffy. There's a lot of frosting on them so nice if you're a gourmet frosting lover. I love the cupcakes from this place. They are big, tasty, moist and the staff is nice. My only problem is with the pricing. Not sure why some cost more than others. They were all pretty much the same size with around the same amount of ingredients. I get the vegan ones being a bit more. But it just confused me a bit. Prices should be put on the signs that described what's in the cupcakes. Other than that I'll be coming here again. It's one of my favorites.
