We used to come here periodically before Covid and then hadn't been around for a while. Was a great place, had some great beers. Tried a lot at the little bar in the back.Finally got back here when I was at the vet next door. Looks like Covid may have hit him hard. One of my favorite spots in the east bay.Ok so you walk through a grocery and tucked in the back is this little bar and about 4 tables serving amazing food.Standout dish weirdly enough is the okra. Fried onion appetizers is always a go to.Great neighborhood vibe, and the owner/ bartender has the nicest smile.

I love their chicken tikki masala, dal makhni, and basamati rice. I've also ordered their vegetarian samosas for a Christmas party. I along with the people at the party loved them.
