My family's favorite restaurant. Have a lot of good memories here. We've had many family dinners, Celebration of life lunches, birthdays, or just having lunch or dinner with friends. So sorry to see you leave. Thank you, Wilson and Mabel, we will miss you. Enjoy your retirement. Take care......

This place became an institution for our family. There were many occasions where my children, when asked what they would like to celebrate an occasion, would ask for Royal Palace. They were instrumental in helping our children mature their palates. Though one can speak volumes of the dishes, their homemade mustard beat every other mustard I could get. Our memories of The Bay Area and of our children growing into young women are forever tied to Royal Palace.

I went to this place because I had not been on years and I was in the area. This used to be my go to place.. when I tell you the food was DRY!!! It is no way possible that my food was cooked fresh.. I have never had such dry rice in my life. I end up throwing it away..

Don’t waste your time and money. Food is horrible. The “salt and pepper spareribs” weren’t even spareribs, it was pork chops. The owner said “I’ve been serving this for 23 years and this is spareribs” Well i guess after 23 years he still doesn’t know what pork spareribs are. Then the bbq ribs was undercooked and when we told him it was, he said he didn’t want us to come back. This place has DISGUSTING food and HORRIBLE customer service. We were never gonna come back anyways. don’t know why others think they have great food to make this restaurant last for 23 years. would have given 0 stars if it was an option

Always delicious, consistent and reliable too bad you can't dine in. Great for large parties with lazy Susan style tables. Their lemon chicken is made with large breast filets and not mystery meat nuggets.

Our favorite Chinese restaurant in the Bay Area. Still tastes the same since we first arrived here in 2003.

Fair prices and well made food. My favorites are the salt and pepper squid and the stir fried vegetables. They are very quick and the staff are super friendly.
The food looks okay, but taste delicious !!!!! Excellent customer service.

I ordered shrimp/prawns Egg foo yong. Years ago, it used to be very good. Now, they cheat you by charging almost $13, not using enough eggs or none, it's mostly made with flour and baking powder, some bean sprouts and fried so its browned outside to make it look like a thick patty. If not for the brown gravy and green onions, it wouldn't taste good at all, plus dry and hard in the center like flour instead of eggs, which is soft and tastes like eggs. They put the prawns outside, not inside. Very poor quality! I've had the same at another Chinese restaurant and it was very good, soft and pliable, shrimps cooked inside with bean sprouts, green onions and a lot of real eggs. Royal is cheating people with none or hardly any eggs, just a fake egg foo yong. Don't order this on their menu!!!
