I ordered the sweet potato vegan tacos and it came with almost no sauce. It was basically black beans, sweet potatoes and radishes on a tortilla. It was tasteless. I would suggest asking for extra crema on the side.

The roast chicken and the black beans here are delicious. My wife and I make special trips here just to enjoy both. I’ve had other dishes here — tacos and enchiladas — and they’re good as well but those two basics are a powerful draw. Also, I just love the Emeryville Public Market.

Great spot, would have given 5 stars but I ordered online pick up and when I got there realized door dash had marked up my meal by about 30%. That really took the enjoyment out of otherwise good food.To the restaurant, I would recommend you work with other online pick up options that don’t rip off your customers. Several have little to no mark up, but DoorDash marked a $22 meal up to $29 which frankly sucks.

I always forget to take photos whenever I come to the Emeryville Public Market, so this is a long overdue.While I've tried many places at the Public Market, C Casa has been my go-to.Food:- Ancho Chile Shredded Beef Quesadilla: lots of flavor in this dish from the shredded beef to the pickled onions that added a nice depth of texture and flavor. The dish also comes with a delicious aioli to eat with the quesadilla. Each plate here also comes with chips, guac, and pico de gallo- Spicy Margarita: strong, flavorful, tasty- Nachorizos: there are two types of nachos available, and we got this one. The chorizo tasted a little different than the chorizo I'm used to, but good flavor from the sauce, cheese, etc.

7/29/23This fast food Mexican restaurant is in a large food court. We got some quesadillas, chips with guac, and a large salad. To be honest I don't remember anything about the food except that I ate some and didn't go back for seconds (we were sharing the food with a few friends.) Well,.... I guess I do remember the salad being quite substantial with many slices of avocado, so that was good. Can't remember much about the quality of their carne asada. I’ve been here and tried a few things across the years and their meat isn’t quality. It’ll vary day by day but it’s majorly not worth the price. The quesadillas are ok, the tacos are like a salad on tortillas so considering the price you’re paying an exorbitant amount for a salad. I used to get the vegan nachos and it cost me 30$ for a large VEGAN nachos with a large side of guac without it it’s 22$ still for beans chips and a couple of sliced up chilis I get labor is expensive but it takes 5 minutes to mama and there’s no meat it’s insane
Very happy with the quality of the ingredients. The strawberry watermelon agua fresca was delightful and perfect for refreshing summer hydration. Everything was super fresh, especially the guac that was the topping on the taquitos and beautifully plated. Will definitely come here again.

C CASA in general is hit and miss. Their carnitas tostada is pretty good. Their chilorillo beef quesadilla is in my opinion the best thing on the menu.

Had the Half Rotisserie Chicken with C Chop salad. The chicken was roasted well and the presentation was awesome. I like the citrus and spicy taste in the dressing and the pumpkin seeds that added more crunch to the salad.

The absolute BEST Baja Fish Tacos I've experienced and had the pleasure of enjoying. Light and flavorful. When I was under the weather I tried these and they perked me right up. I didn't feel bloated or stuffy after enjoying. The crunch and savory sauce mixed together with the freshness of the fish and slaw, OMG!!!!!!!! Can I say, A-Ma-Zing!!!! You gotta try them. Great for a hot day. The tortilla is made in house daily and fresh. You don't taste oil but fresh fish. Enjoy!!!Vegetarian options: They have flavorful vegan and vegetarian options. Wonderful tastes.Kid-friendliness: They do offer a kids menu.
