Menu at the door is different from menu given to order at the table. What I ordered was spoiled the waitress said. So I had to reorder. My waitress short changed my money and when I told her she started crying and abruptly left. The service was bad, the food was barely okay, the atmosphere was depressing, the bathroom was dirty, and I will not ever go there again, even if I am starving.?

Terrible terrible , they make us wait for one hour to at the end tell us they did not have a table for 5!....the restaurant was not that busy enough to make us wait for an hour.

Awful. Said my order would be ready in 15 minutes and ended up taking 45. I looked for a worker so I could ask where my food was and there was no one around to help me. Awful service. Do not recommend.

This place was a joke no one greeted us including a manger. For five minutes while standing there waiting. Then two young people were gossiping and cussing right in front of us and STILL not Taking a to go order where we ended walking over to because no one would seat us. We asked if the bar was open to sit there. NO Has been open for months we were told. So we try and order to go and they are out of hamburgers they say. Some one in our group didn't want pizza. Never again. The worst customer service ever!!

Not bad for a chain; decent amount of options. Good location in the mall, and plenty of seating. Our wait time wasn't bad (15 minutes for two people on a Saturday night). Our server (forgot his name) was attentive. The food did take a while, but everything was accurate. Was disappointed in the seafood pasta as it could have used more flavor and was pretty dry. We come here as a last resort when we don't have time to grab something else.

I have eaten at this location in the past and had poor service, but this was ridiculous. I showed up as a party of one just before 5pm. I was the third party in line to be seated. After around ten minutes someone came over and seated one party. The manager (I assume) was seen telling the host not to seat anyone else because they only had two people in the kitchen. Probably a total of 6-8 tables seated at that time. I left. After reading the reviews of this location, it appears as though Deborah M. (Business Owner) is quite busy responding to all of the one star reviews. People don't want excuses. They want results.

Maybe we came on a bad night, it was a Wednesday night and few people were in the restaurant. Food quality and service was just not the same as pre-pandemic. Delivered the wrong items so sent back. The cauliflower pizza we ordered was over cooked and missing components. The avocado eggs rolls had a taste of pre-frozen food that was quickly fried. Maybe they rushed them to make up for the miss step when we placed the order. The buffalo cauliflower appetizers were good as was the lemonade! Left the restaurant pretty disappointed sorry to say. Talked to my sister who ate there a couple of days before us and said she was surprised as she had a more positive experience and she is a regular. So maybe they had an off day. But I'll do better at reading the room next time because it was not a good meal and minimal attention from the waitress.

Long waits and very poor service. Whether you're looking to eat in store or takeout they really fail at this shop. They won't tell you when they're out of items, instead they just prep your food without all ingredients. If you want something tasty that is well prepared and is what you actually ordered i suggest going elsewhere. As a once lover of CPK it's disappointing to see how far they've fallen!Parking: Large lots around, but no street parking near the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is located on the second level, so wheelchair users will need to navigate to lift access, which i couldn't easily see from the storefront.

Alex Sara here! I spoke with Manager Robert today and he was so helpful and it's because of him that CPK in Emeryville is a place I want to eat at! Great food and this family friendly atmosphere is what I look for in restaurants! This CPK is run better than most because Robert has great attention to detail and great customer service skills and his team is lucky to have him as a manager! Ask for him the next time your family is there! Thanks Robert :)

DoorDash order: The food was cold and wrong. I paid extra for truffle oil that I didn't get. The pasta was undercooked and hard, the pizza was cold. The delivery service I used would not refund me so I called the restaurant back and a female employee, she wouldn't give me her name. But she promised that if I gave her my name and address I could go to the store and pick it up at a later date. Well... when I called back for the food that she promised I would get for free, they acted as if it never happened. They kept telling me to go through the delivery service I used but they wouldn't refund it.

It takes so long to give us room to sit inside to start the order. There were a lot of empty tables, but they said we had to wait for 15 minutes. But it took 35 minutes only to come inside. Then it takes 10 minutes to take the order. And then it takes 45 minutes to bring the food. They didn't even get the salad or a glass of water—there was such lousy customer service. I never come back here and waste my family time. The kids were so hungry. They brought, after 25 minutes, only a small bowl with some bread. It's unacceptable that kind of customer service. I definitely highly recommend going somewhere else. Anywhere else is better than here. We tried to keep the kids busy with painting. The food needs salt But, the customers were not good. The food doesn't have enough salt, and you could not find it on the table. Waitress did

Used to be one of my favorite places to go but I guess not anymore. We went today after a long time ordered our usual chipotle pizza and chicken dumplings. The dumplings were completely not well presented when I looked I was like what went wrong here with this place. Then came the pizza, they completely destroyed it. There was no green dipping sauce and the beans and corns were ice cold. It was a horrible experience.I don’t think I am ever going again.

Service was so slow we didn’t get to eat in. Food was undercooked, and gave us stomach issues. We went here yesterday 11/20/22 - afternoon with a large group. I called a day ahead and told the manager that we’d be coming at a specific time. I called again 10 minutes before we arrived. We chose CPK because of the closeness to the AMC movie theater and we were scheduled to see a movie. They said they don’t take reservations but they would “leave a note” for the next day staff so they would be ready for us. When we arrived, my name was on the list and it took them about 10 minutes to seat us. When we were seated there was barely anyone in there. The waitress that helped us was very friendly but painfully slow. They had other servers but made her wait on our table by herself. Not to mention we all wanted separate bills (12 of us or so). After placing our orders, we were served one round of table bread that was a bit cold. An hour later, when our food hadn’t arrived we asked for more bread and she snapped “it’s in the oven.” We waited 30 more minutes and all our food still hadn’t come out so I went to speak with the manager who told me the waitress had just put in our order and there was only one cook. I said to him our movie was starting in 20 minutes. He said “we can make it to go for you.” We waited an additional 30 minutes for the food to come out packed in paper bags that were spilling out and dripping from being hastily packed. Some of our guests had to repackage their food and no one knew what was in their bags. In the end we were late for our movie because it took another 10 minutes for the waitress to finish checking some of our guests out. Only two guests (who ordered pizza) were able to dine in.Later, my child and I had severe stomach cramps because the Alfredo was undercooked. Unfortunately this California Pizza Kitchen has gone down as one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in the Bay Area.Parking: They don’t validate parking, and the new parking system is very confusing. A lot of people were getting tickets.

Our server name was BiBi and she was so rude. We didn't even get some of the food we ordered. The manager had to give us a discount cause he knew she had poor customer service.

Every time I go to this location I am utterly disappointed. I keep going back optimistically wishing their service and quality of food is better, but it never fails. I only had one meal today and decided I wanted pizza specifically from CPK. My boyfriend prefers using Doordash services, but I insisted we drive 20 minutes from where we live to pickup curbside. When we arrived, we are told we'd have to come inside to pay for our food. I go to CPK regularly and every other location I've been to has a card reader brought to the car. We came out the house expecting to stay in the car, and ultimately had no choice but to go in. Getting our food inside luckily was not an issue. Midway home, I tasted my Shirley Temple and it was absolutely disgusting. The sprite was flat and ultimately was a wasted drink. We finally return home and found my pizza looking like this. I am absolutely crushed because I was SO hungry and looking forward to this meal, but WTH is this. My boyfriend ended up door dashing me Round Table Pizza because I just couldn't eat this. For all my CPK lovers like me, I warn you this location is NOT it! It is a terrible experience every time. I know CPK in general is better than this. This location is just extremely trash!
