This is my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area. Not only is the food absolutely scrumptious, but the owners and staff are so kind and treat you like neighbors. Can't recommend more.

The food may look simple but the taste is excellent! What really stood out about this place for me was the service. Waitress was really knowledgeable about every single item on the menu and constantly made sure we were attended to. Food came out hot and quickly, it was like a well-oiled machine. The manager also went around and checked on everybody. Dog-friendly in the back patio area. Street parking is free on the weekends. Will definitely be returning!

My partner moved here from NYC 4 years ago and believes our meal at GTE last night was the best restaurant meal he’s had in northern CA. The 2 of us (over)ordered 6 dishes (+ soft serve to finish) and every dish was so good. Flavors were balanced. The noodle texture was sooo Q(iykyk). Every dish, I’ve had it somewhere, some version before but they executed theirs perfectly and made each dish uniquely their own.
