Our go-to place for sushi! A cozy, romantic spot. They make pictures with the sauces - fun for kids! Update: eating out less, kid grown, but still really love this place for a cozy self-date. Great service and the food is always exceptional. On street parking, which isn't too bad.

Server was very nice so as the chef. However, lunch service was very very very slow. The chef came to apologize for the slow service and said most of the time in the restaurant only have 1 person(the chef) working. So the chef needs to serve and make the food for you. I did a take out before, it was very slow service too.

Stumbled in after deciding the dumplings around the corner have become insanely booji, and couldn't be happier. Good quality, service, and priced well. The chirashi don is ? but then we tried the sashimi deluxe and it's ??.

Amazing casual Japanese spot for a great value. The tonkatsu was some of the best I’ve ever had. And, the service was just exceptional! Will be returning when I’m in Berkeley next!
Yummy yummy. Good food, big bento box. The portion of salmon is unfortunately a little bit on the smaller side. But it is quite a lot of food otherwise.

The restaurant wasn't busy early afternoon so we were serviced quickly. The lunch bentos were delicious and tasted fresh, made to order. The male server + female cook were really nice! I would come back again.

Working in the area and wanted to satisfy my Japanese food craving for lunch. There were only a couple of patrons there but the place was clean. Service was good but the price point to what you get was kinda disappointing compared to other similar places I have been to.

Have been to this place for lunch several times. Food is decent... Sashimi are fresh, katsu are not crispy though, portion is only ok. Service... is s....l...o......oo.........o........w af. Don't come to this place if you're in a hurry, or having an interview in a neighboring company.
