I am sad this location is closing permanently as of August 31, 2021 due to the inflation of their lease. The actual last day of the location Saturday, August 28 as it is only opened Friday and Saturday now. I use to love to stop in during my lunch breaks to grab a 6 pack of their yummy macaroons, always chewy and soft, crispy and delicate with the right amount of flavor to make it not too sweet or artificial in taste. The flavors profiles offered are diverse and do not rotate too often which is good and bad. It is nice to find your favorites there when you stop in but it would also be nice to be able to experiment with a new flavor or two more often than every so often. My favorite flavors are the chocolate hazelnut, churro and Thai tea. Pretty much if the name says it then the flavor will follow to match perfectly. Their pairing of flavor combinations, shell to filling, is not insanely unique nor innovative but the flavors make up for that. Today, I tried a slice of their chocolate cake, which for me was a new sight as I was only accustomed to the macarons being offered. In fairness, I have not been by this location as often as before as the hours are not convenient to say the least but I get it especially with all things COVID. The chocolate cake was lack luster. It was not dry, but it was also not moist and indulgent. It was a bit too sweet for me as it appeared to be more on the richer, darker side than milk chocolate. The cake left so much to be desired and with only a few bites I threw out the slice, it was not worth ingesting just for the sake of eating it. I'm not sure the price, I just know I will not purchase again. I saw the yolk cheesecake there today as well and wish I would've followed my first instinct and purchased, oh well! You win some, you lose some. The macarons for me and my family are always a win! The staff member said they are looking to relocate to San Francisco as the leasing options are surprising cheaper than their current location's. She was not sure when that would be as they are looking now. The best way to stay updated is through their Instagram as email subscribers will not receive an instant update per the staff member.

Macarons are my favorite guilty indulgence. I've had many however this was my first time having churro flavored macarons. They were freakin bussin! The sprinkle of cinnamon puts it over the top. Basque cheesecake was a pleasant surprise. Everyone should try it at least one time.

I was so excited to try these macarons, and since this shop has limited ours, I showed up 15 minutes early on Friday. I waited for an hour until 12:45 and no one showed up, even though the hours say they open at 12. I called the shopping center and they said the shop should be open, yet no one ever came. I’m super disappointed as I drove out of my town to try these, yet never got a taste:(

Wow. The basque cheesecake here is out of this world and absolutely amazing. I usually love the crust of cheesecake but even though Oui Oui! Macaron do not serve these cheesecakes with crust, I will eat every single bite of my slice. I would recommend pre-ordering a whole cake ahead of time earlier in the week. Their macaron cookies are also delicious! I will definitely be back!

Finally got to try this place! They're normally always closed when I stop by. We ordered Almond, Pistachio, Vanilla, Churro, & Lemon from them and they're tinier than we thought. &The price for the size of it wasn't really worth it. But it was pretty good & it was worth trying it once!

I've been here a few times before the pandemic. Love the macarons. They're all great flavors and cute. Recently, I stopped by to grab a slice of their basque cheesecake. I followed them on Instagram and just had to get a slice because the pictures looked so good. I came after 3pm and a staff was there. It looked like it's closed and she's wrapping up. I saw that there was only one slice of vanilla basque cheesecake left. It looked lonely in the display. I asked the staff if it's still open. I'm eyeing on the slice like I really want it, hehe. She said they're open from 12pm - 3pm only. Even though it was after 3pm, she assisted me and rang up my order. Thank you! Great service. Took the slice home and ate it after my home made dinner. The basque cheesecake is different from regular cheesecake. It's more dense, eggy, fluffy and taste like a flan. I can taste the cheese. I did get full from eating it and save half for later. Overall, it's good and sweet. It was nice to finally try the basque cheesecake.

Very clean and convenient spot. They serve large meals and for inexpensive prices. We loved the food a lot and the staff were very affable and chatty. Recommended.

This small stand is located in The Public Market in Oakland. The parking was easy and free for 120 minutes. I was craving macaroni after my favorite macaron place closed down. I stumbled upon this place and just had to try! They have lots of different favors and basque cheesecake. What I got: -Pistachio: A classic, very nutty and sweet. I enjoyed this one! -Lavender: I didn't get much of a lavender scent on this one, just a regular sweet macaron to me. -Jasmine Green Tea: I love my green tea, but this macaron doesn't have the green tea flavors. It was still good, though! One critique I have is that the macarons are a little uneven/not circular. I wish the macarons looked better!

The basque cheesecake here is an absolute knockout. Different than traditional cheesecake, it's crustless and a bit tangier. If you've ever had a Bake cheese tart, the flavor is similar. For $9, you get a generous slice. For me, it's enough for two separate servings. I always get the vanilla, though they've had matcha and pumpkin too. I also tried a cookies and cream macaron ice cream sandwich from them last year and it too was divine. Pretty obsessed with that cheesecake though! What a treat after a long week. I appreciate the quick, masked service and contactless payment.

I'm probably the only person who has come by this shop and ended up buying cheesecake!! I've been seeing Basque burnt cheesecake trending everywhere and was definitely tempted when I saw them offering slices (different flavors like matcha, vanilla, pumpkin, black currant, etc) for $9. There was only pumpkin and matcha available during the time so we decided to go with matcha. My first reactions when eating this were 1) wow the matcha flavor is good 2) this tastes just like a regular cheesecake. I've never had Basque cheesecake but definitely expected something a little more charred and burnt in flavor. I would say this was really good but it wasn't worth $9 that's pretty expensive for a slice of cheesecake. I'll definitely have to come back to try some of the macarons. I saw some previous reviews that they were $1.85 each but it seems like they're now $2 each for reference. The place is also only open 12-3 on Fri-Sat due to reduced COVID hours.

Yes Yes!! If you want a sweet treat try this spot. Their macarons are soft, crisp and chewy. Their cookies are ridiculous. Chocolate chip, M&M, Fruity Pebbles, Double chocolate, oh yeah. One of all time fave chocolate chip cookies. I haven't tried any icecream yet, but I'm betting it's spectacular. The store is super clean, modern and the decor is oh so cute. I can taste the love and care the chef and her team put into baking. Points for great graphics, suuuper cute packaging and all the bits that come when you order online. A go-to for me when I'm sending gifts to my loved ones during this quarantine!!

The different variety of macaroons and their unique styles made them seem more appetizing. Flavor was amazing and staff pretty friendly.

Came across this little gem upon being stuck in traffic on a Friday evening headed back to Sacramento. I looked up a few places to go hang out and just chill and decided to go to this spot in Emeryville with a variety of eateries. My bf and I picked up a few macaroons for ourselves and his friends to take back home. Let me tell you...... I'm so upset that I didn't get more of the earl gray and decided to share it with my bf who didn't appreciate the greatness of the flavor! I got one of each of the following: earl gray, salted caramel, chocolate hazelnut, coffee, passion fruit. None and I mean NONE of the flavors has disappointed me and let me tell you I am not a super sweet fan and I've had macaroons that are too overwhelming in sugar or flavor. These were perfection!!!! Great balance between texture, sweet, and flavor! I hope this company expands a few stores through out - hopefully somewhere In Sacramento esp. the DOCO! area. definitely need to make a stop in a week or so to pick up so more on my next Bay Area trip

Hands down the best macarons! So worth it!! Each one was made to perfection. Not too sweet and full of flavor! Light, crisp, chewy and airy! You need to be a macaron lover to understand the goodness of this delightful cookie. Each macaron tasted exactly like the name! So far my favorite is the Churro. I'm so happy I came across this wonderful place! I'll be back!
