We've eaten here years before and the dining experience was great back then, so my husband recommended this place to a group of friends for a reunion luncheon on 3/23. Times sure have changed... what a great disappointment! the food this time around was awful! My husband had the Short Rib Bahn Mi sandwich and said it was dry and overcooked! I had their signature Island Fried Rice to go, which touted their famous char siu pork with tender chicken, pineapple, ginger, garlic, egg, soy, green onion. Needless to say this dish tasted like it was stir-fried in rancid vinegar! None of it tasted anything like fried rice. Their famous char siu pork was no where to be found, unless you had a magnifying glass to see it. I love asian food especially fried rice, but this concoction they created was surprisingly nauseating, so I threw it in the trash! all $25 dollars worth of it, which is a huge waste of money. Thinking maybe it was just me, I asked my sister, my husband and a neighbor to taste the fried rice and they all said the same thing "it's awful!". I will never go back and DO NOT recommend this place for their food, they are highly overpriced and the service is so-so. Although their drinks are pretty good... nuff said.

At first glance you think this place is kitsch made real (and it is) but the food is original and good and the drinks are a delight. Yes, it's kitschy, but it's moved past that into "classic".Parking: Take a Lyft! Parking is terrible.

Recently dined here for a work event. I will say that the location is nice, the service was good but overall many were left unimpressed by the food. Here is a rundown of the food we ordered: Cosmo Tidbits (pictured) Crispy prawns were great, crab rangoons were good but could have done without the pork and ribs. Bengali Salmon Tacos (pictured) Great presentation but lacked flavor. Beef & Reef (not pictured) Definitely recommend. Great flavor. East Bay Lemon Butter Chicken (pictured) The chicken was cooked well but lacked flavor. Beef Cho Cho (not pictured) Comes out raw and you cook at the table over a small open flame. Did not look nor taste appetizing Overall, the ambiance was nice and it was good to get away from the office. I won't return but I don't completely discourage others from trying it.

The food was very good and the ambiance charming. The service was spotty but it was a beautiful day with a gorgeous view. I missed the parking service, We had to purchase the crackers with peanut spread which used to be complimentary.

Beware of credi card charges. Beautiful restaurant, good food , great drinks, service in lounge acceptable/good, service in restaurant poor, expensive for meal size. Worst part was I paid by credit card and when I checked my credit card statement waiter had changed amount on tip to higher amount. I always take photo to prove what I left ( which I should not have to but glad I did. Credit card company will follow up. I left message with staff at restaurant for manager to call me but never did)

Great place to dine or just to sit by the bar and enjoy happy hours. The food & appetizers are delicious. In-house smokers for proteins, both meat & vegi dishes! By the Marina, great bay views.

An absolute delight! I have always loved the escape that tiki promises so finally making it to Trader Vic's was a bucket list item for me! The views from the window of the bay were lovely and the atmosphere inside was exactly what I would have hoped for is it whisked us away to paradise. Such a classic! We started with drinks, a Koana Puffer for myself and an SF Mai Tai for husband. Both drinks were so yummy and well made. Then we decided to have all the apps! So we had the Cheese Bings which I have always wanted to try, they were delicious and a must order for sure. Then the spring rolls and crispy prawns which you can't really go wrong with and they were done perfectly and well, crispy! They brought us lots of sauce which was great because I truly love hot mustard. We then ordered the Cosmo Tidbit and the Beef Cho Cho. It was so fun to finish cooking the beef over the fire and omg the pork Char Sui was the absolute best! It was so delicious! Everyone was also friendly and helpful and it was such a fun experience!
