Today I order birria. Worse birria ever no flavor at all. The guy who was working in the register this afternoon need to have better customer service.

The owner need to stop by more after to test his own food from his cook .
The food is lack of flavor.

Very bad place, customer service was actually good, that's the only good thing abt it.
But tacos were bad maan, real bad, honestly I ate them just cause I was hungry, but honestly, meat is bad quality, and the cheese in the mulitas, no flavor texture like plastic. Salsa bar was more like water salsa.
Very big place for such a poor quality.
Not recommended it!

I'm sorry, after 4 different visits, I'm done giving these folks a chance, today I was excited to try their Chliaquiles rojos, man oh man! Was I dissapointed and severly dissatisfied! They were use La Mission white tortillas! For their Chilaquiles! They taste exactly! Lile La Mission! And the red sauce! Is salsa for Tomateadas! Not one single hint of chile rojo! At all!! It legit tasted like I was eating soggy tortilla in a tomatoes soup! I don't know who or where they were taught to make Chilaquiles, but this was a failed and sad attempt! Don't you guys MAKE! YOUR own tortillas? Why use La Mission? And the rice! Why do you serve the previous days rice? Don't dare tell me it's not! I worked in a kitchen for several years! Left over rice! Beans were not flavorful at all! Just bland! Do you folks even taste the food or salsas you put for customers?

I don’t know what these guys talking about but this place is amazing! Food really good and service was top notch! Been here a few times. I live in San Diego and when I’m in north county I always stop by to eat when I’m in Esco. Best in NORTH COUNTY!

Ordered only 2 things adobada asada fries and a taco de cabeza my fries came and there wasn’t any adobada only carnitas, do these people know what adobada is? Apparently carnitas are the new adobada💀just save ur money or go to Alberto’s across the street so much better honestly

This place is a sub par taco shop ,
The menudo was ok the corn tortillas were not bad. Keep looking for better food , but if you are hungry the food here won’t kill you. The order of 4 roll tacos was at the very least edible I will not buy them again.

I came here due to the reviews and BOY WAS I MISLEAD! I ordered 4 tacos, 1 chorizo, 1 asada and 2 Al pastor. The asada & chorizo were fair, but the AL pastor were simply gross! Super greasy and had a strong unappetizing pirk/animal flavor. It tasted more like buche. An authentic "Al Pastor" taco is made with marinated meat hung on a steel pole that turns as it is cooked with the fire. Very, very disappointing experience.

The best Mexican food around, no joke. Verified by my Mexican wife, born and raised! Heavenly food, nice employees, but it is hot inside during summer because of no AC. I recommend taking it to go if you are sensitive to summer heat. They have the most delicious flan, tacos, and everything.
