Some of the worst Tempura I have ever had. Greasy, little batter and vegetables so overcooked they were mush. Stick to Sushi which was mediocre.

The workers are nice,the food is great,and the chicken katsu is yummy.and is a great place for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: It's kid safe and there were some kids who found the remotes for the 2 tv (that was 2 of my friends ?)

I would like to give this place another try. I got the chicken katsu lunch takeout special today, which I had called in with plenty of time. When I got there, it was clear the order had never been submitted to the kitchen, so I had to wait for 15 minutes while it was made.The special came with delicious miso soup, a sad little iceberg lettuce salad, a tasty but small egg roll, and a really great piece of fresh melon for dessert. The chicken katsu and rice dish was decent, but nothing special.Overall, pretty good value and quality.I live near here, and it was crowded even though it was noon on a weekday. Looking forward to going back and giving them another shot - maybe dining in.

This is an extremely dirty restaurant. the lights from the ceiling have not been cleaned in Years. One fixture has only 1 light bulb working and there's different match of light bulbs in the other one. The wall is disintegrating with dirt falling onto the tables and they fail to clean it. They stock inventory in the dining area with boxes of to go containers. Old plastic garlands hanging in the windows. This place needs a good cleaning, scares me to see what the kitchen looks like!
My absolute favorite sushi spot in Humboldt. Best Calamari, best rolls, and always amazing service.

My favorite thing to get is the Chicken Teriyaki Bento box which come with miso soup, rice, a tiny salad, a melon, a carb usually an egg roll, and the chicken. It is the perfect amount of food for me most days. I prefer my rice fried, which has always come out good, especially with the golden miso.I have also had the sushi, which is good all around, no complaints.
