My favorite bbq joint in all of Humboldt! Don't sleep on Southside Mike's y'all this is the real deal bbq, a real jem for our community. I love his ribs so much, so much so that I haven't really branched out too much from his menu because it's what I crave everytime I see him. So tender and succulent, his sauce is so unique-I have never had anything else like it. My partner has gotten the tri tip sandwich which I love the caramelized onions on top, they are not soft and mushy like other places. I like how his onions still have some life in them. Most recently I decided to branch out a little and try the pulled pork sandwich, and yup you guessed it -BOMB! So good. The fries come with this cracked black pepper and garlic aioli , simply delicious. Give him a try and you won't regret it. Quality everytime!

What in the Heavens! This place had been hiding in plain sight. I've gone to the Myrtletown Liquor store (more often than I should say) and never batted an eye lash at this place.Well... what a gem. The gentleman working it is great. The food is spectacular. Don't blink twice at the price: WORTH IT. Yum yum yum. Pulled pork sandwiches- to die for....or live for (so you can eat more). Hubby says their Mac n Cheese is a must buy. Love the fries too!

This is the real deal ribs, stick to your ribs baby, ribs and much more .... I'd have to ruin a good time by saying much more .. go experience, enjoy. Mike's been slaying the grubs since before most of the current food truckers began to crawl. This type of flavour is my type of savior! Get the Mac n cheese too, and bring me some please?!

Just finished after first visit and I will definitely be back. Thanks for dinner! I can tell he cares about his food! Everything was fresh and well prepared. Im in bbq bliss RN! Completely devoured a bowl of the competition chili and the hot wings. Legit homemade food!

Outstanding! Ordered tri tip and while we were waiting we were treated to sample of rib tips.....smoky deliciousness....oh my. Fries were a great side and the fry sauce was delicious..mustard based and peppery. What a treat! I highly recommend a visit!

I am deeply saddened that in my five years here in Humboldt County I have not tried this barbecue truck. This is easily the best bbq food available this side of California For not only a reasonable price but an incredibly competitive price. This will be the only barbecue joint I’ll be hitting from now on

I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this excellent restaurant. Well we enjoyed a incredible evening and the place was definitely one of the reasons for the happy celebration. The waiters helped in a graceful manner, the food was extremely good and my buddies were so happy. We shall definitely return for more celebrations. Thank you very much.
