After deciding we were’t going to deal with crazy long lines at San Mateo, we found dine in option with Dozo. What a hidden gem!It’s a standard small mom-n-pops ran place with izakaya, sushi, sashimi and ramen choices. We ordered tempura rolls, agedashi tofu, ochazuke and deep fried soft shell crab.Pros: large portion, food comes out fast. Nice restaurant with great ambiance, good quality tea, very good and delicated sushi rolls, nice chicken karage, and overall we are very satisfied with the quality and the taste of the foods we ordered.

I've been ordering take-out from here since the pandemic started. The quality is always consistent and flavorful. I really enjoy the selection, which is a combination of sushi and izakaya. Definitely one of my top picks when we're feeling like some Japanese comfort food
