My school scheduled a fundraiser with The Habit. It was a fun event for our families. Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed their dinner. The Habit staff did a great job with our large group. We will schedule another fundraiser in the future.

Generally excellent but this was so disappointing. My burger was soggy and soft, Wet bread, And gross. My grandson's burger was good, But mine was horrible. Generally I have good experience but this was not a good experience. I threw the burger into the garbage.

I go to several Habit locations along the peninsula and have been amazed by how thin the Foster City location is pounding the chicken breast for their sandwiches. It's thinner than the tomatoes and close to being as thin as the onions. I had to take off one side of the bun and the 2 inches of lettuce and eat it open faced in order to barely taste any chicken breast at all.

For the fast food type of burger place I think Habit is the best with the best prices. They make it to order but the wait time is fairly quick. They also have a variety of items. The only thing I don't like is their cheese so I don't order it. I don't like most cheeses on burgers because they are usually processed American cheese.

My favorite steak sandwich was no longer on sale. I ordered the new spicy crispy chicken, but the clerk didn't ask me what kind of bread and sauce I wanted. They asked before. The blond female clerk who came last time also had a very bad attitude, which is no surprise to America. By the way, the spicy crispy chicken sandwich is terrible so don’t order it.

I tried this location via dining-in, take-out, and dashing. Dine-in and take-out are much more worth it.The restaurant is decently clean. The staff is courteous. And the wait time is reasonable.I like the burgers, especially the Portabella Char. The fries and tempura green beans are both delicious. The dine-in portion is almost double the size of the Doordash portion. The milkshakes are good too, but on the smaller side. If you don't order drinks and only want water, it's located at the soda machine. The label indicating where the water is might be small, but if you look hard enough, it's there.There are plenty of parking in the plaza. So if you live in the area or happen to pass by, I would recommend this Habit Burger Grill.

After I ordered they wouldn’t let me trade the ranch for the boom boom sauce. The lady insisted that I pay 44 cents for the sauce after I spent 20 dollars on my own meal. Wish I got her name but it was a short Latina woman and she was very rude.

Pretty good food -- way better than your typical fast food joint. I've had business in Foster City, so I've eaten there three times now. The burgers are delicious, but also the salads, which are a meal themselves. The people working there are very nice. It's a pleasant place. I recommend it.
Really bad experience here recently. The store manager on duty at night on Oct 20, 2023 was unhelpful and dishonest, which really soured the good experience I was hoping for by bringing my kids here.
