I have no idea how this place still has 4 stars. From my understanding it was once a Chinese mom and pop place but it is now under new management (Indo-Chinese). I think they should just get rid of the Chinese BBQ menu because they cannot make this kind of food. The duck was not good, it was dry and not flavorful like Chinese roast duck. The pork was dry and the skin was borderline inedible. The chow mein noodles were rock hard, it was WAY undercooked. They need to change the menu to food they know how to cook because this was disgusting. It looked so sad in the restaurant, as if it was once a nice mom and pop shop and now it's just this dilapidated store. I definitely would NOT recommend this place. I went against my better judgement reading these recent reviews saying how management has changed and the Chinese food is no good anymore. I gave them a chance. Don't make the same mistake I did. BEWARE!

Do not eat here. Food is horrible. I ordered Duck rice. Rice tasted old. Duck is old. Probably last night or longer. I just hope I won't be sick. I can't believe the quality of Chinese food in the Bay Area. The flavor is bland. Btw, I did not finish my food. I threw them away. This is horrible. Should have went to In-N-Out.

Randomly stopped by here to pick up lunch to go since this was in the area. What an interesting concept for Indo-Chinese traditional BBQ style shop. I tried the BBQ duck plate and pork bun - both are just okay. The duck could use more seasoning and the bun had a really high bread to filling ratio. That said, the price was great for the amount of food you get (albeit loads of carbs).

The new indo-Chinese menu is something I highly recommend. The chicken Momo is especially delicious! They also have chowmein as well which is another recommendation.

TL;DR: A new Indo-Chinese Menu has been added on top of the regular offerings. Indo-Chinese food was a bust as it was too dry for me to even finish. Crispy Pork is still sub-par but the Char Shiu and chili crisps are where its at.Food: [Not Worth Trying]- Crispy Pork: I stop by every month hoping the new chef's recipe is better but it's still a miss. Not crispy or juicy.- Chicken Quarters: Incredibly dry, I could not finish this. - Indo-Chinese Chicken Lollipop: Incredibly dry; another item I could not finish. [Worth Trying]- Char Shiu: Juicy and just yum!- Complimentary Chili Crisps: ummm this is so good! I would consider buying a large jar of this if it was sold at a reasonable price. In fact, it makes the sub-par crispy pork taste soo much better.

Bro, how's it going to be only 3:30 PM and you're basically already out of most of the bbq options and only have 3 roasted ducks and one dry half piece of roasted pork?! On top of that, no one seemed to know what I was asking for when I told them I wanted roasted pork (Siu yok) when this place seems to specialize in Chinese bbq. What are you gonna do for the remainder of the 4.5 opening hours?!I didn't end up leaving with any of the bbq options which was pretty disappointing because I came all the way from San Jose. The pictures of the bbq looked promising but I guess it'll have to be another day that I try it. I decided to get two of the bbq pork buns instead as consolation but was again disappointed. Bread was not very soft and a tad bit dry. Pork filling also lacked moisture. At $3 a bun, it's pretty pricey and I was expecting something definitely tastier. I guess the only thing that was a plus was the size of it. Def bigger than most bbq pork buns.I'd honestly give this more a 2.5 but willing to give the bbq a shot assuming there will actually be some more next time.

Fantastic restaurant! The food was incredibly flavorful, and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend for a tasty and convenient meal. Don’t forget to try Pork momo ( dumplings).

Honestly one of the worst places I've ever eaten at. This is my first time I have ever given a bad review and that's because the chicken was almost inedible. I would never suggest this place. 2023.

Good food in around Fremont.

This is a solid place for cantonese style BBQ. The skin is crispy, and the meat is tasty. I also like the fact that they use good quality rice. Some places feed you garbage rice (I'm looking at you, Panda Express).

I kept driving past this place and finally stopped in. The reviews don't lie! Then roast pork is so good!! The skin is crispy perfection and the pork is seasoned so well. The roast duck is also really good and comes with a sauce. I grabbed the last of the roast pork and the last of the bbq pork buns that Yelpers said was yummy. My hubby and I grew up eating those from places off Clement Street in SF and are our fave. He said he's had better in SF, but these were the best he's had in the East bay. The owner is really nice and she was very welcoming. They've been in business for the last five years!
