As outstanding as the chocolate truffles were (served on the Niles Canyon Wine Train with port wine), they were over-shadowed by the spectacular lemon truffles (purchased in the store)! SO much flavor!

Super yummy huge chocolate chip cookies. My kiddos absolutely loved the store. The owner was very nice!

I really want to thank Joy for helping me pick out two boxes of fudge (maple walnut and Oreo cookie) the other day. She was a delight to talk with and was very bubbly. The fudge was so delicious and fresh! I intended to give these boxes of fudge as gifts but alas I could not bring myself to share so I ate them. I will be sure to return to Kiki's the next time I am in the area.

Ah, love the fudges here! Came here to buy some cupcakes but they don't have any because it's summer and you need to order them. We got the fudges and OMG they are GOOOD. I'll have to come here every week to get some from now on!

Love this place. She has lots of already prepared items but the things she makes herself are really delicious. She actually catered a few events for us when I was working with Lori Stokes and Starstruck Theatre. I absolutely LOVE the homemade Lemon Lavender Cookies! You must try them. However, she is often not open during regular hours. Mostly weekends. Niles is that way sometimes.

During the weekend of the downtown Niles Half Marathon I was in the area all weekend and stopped by Kiki's in hopes to pick up some Cupcake but was really let down with the selection as the selection was tiny. I guess with just 8 Cupcakes all the same flavor you could say there was no selection at all so with that in mind I would say this is more of a candy shop than somewhere to get Cupcakes. The store itself is small and cute with bags of Taffy, Brittle, Coconut Macaroons and homemade Fudge among other items. They even have bags of Muffin mix to make at home. The owner is also very nice which makes me feel a little bad at the overall 3 stars but after trying the Cupcake that I bought ( I was really let down. $2.50 each the flavor I got was Strawberry Cream. Both the Frosting and the Cake had an artificial flavor to them that really didn't say Strawberry Cream to me. a 2 star worthy Cupcake in my book. I also got the Cookies and Cream Fudge ( which I was really looking forward but was again a let down. I enjoyed the Oreo Cookie flavor and the Fudge itself was smooth but it left an oily film on the roof of my mouth. Nice small local business which you can get your regular candy at but I wouldn't recommend much else sadly.

I swear every time I go here I spend at least $10 on fudge alone! They have so many unique flavors like lemon pecan, cookies and cream, and mint chocolate. Ask the lady in the front if you want to try anything. She's always more than happy to give you samples of anything/everything they have. :) They're usually only open on weekends till 5pm, but during the holiday season one of the owners stays a bit later and keeps the shop running til around 7pm. Try their German chocolate bars if you visit. It tastes like a mix of fudge brownies, coconut macaroons, and caramelized chocolate. It's amazing and you get a huge piece for only $2.50. You won't be disappointed!

Picked up the cupcakes for my son's party yesterday (they called to make sure we were on our way because we were running late!). :) Thank you ladies! I emailed the day before to ask if they could do colored cups to match our theme and they were great about it - did a mixture of white and silver. They labeled the different flavors and used different sprinkles to indicate which banana cupcakes had nuts. My favorite by a landslide were the banana nut w/ cream cheese. They were DELICIOUS... very flavorful, moist and the cream cheese frosting was one of the best I've had. You know how some cream cheese frostings just kind of have a cream cheese flavor and they can be too sweet? Not this one. Yum yum yum. The chocolate cupcakes were good too, but the banana were YUMMY! Everyone loved the glitter topping. They were super sparkly, adorable and delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND KIKI'S!!!

Before discovering Kiki's I was driving to Hayward just to get fresh homemade cupcakes. I just couldn't believe there had been a place so close to home, and so GOOD! The cupcakes and cookies are wonderful and the service very personal and obliging. Kiki's has become a weekend destination and this week there were fresh strawberry cupcakes. So moist I bought extra for the week ahead. Thank you, Kiki's and see you again soon.

I didn't wanna review this because I was being selfish. But seriously, this quaint little shop in Old Fremont sells thee best fudge I've ever tasted! The owner is also as sweet as her konfections, she'll let you sample the fudge and cookies! Who would've thought lemon lavender cookies would be divine? Quick tip: it's only open on weekends!

Cute little candy shop in Niles. The owner is an absolute angel. I had been in there once a few months back. The lavender lemon cookies she makes didn't even make it back home to Newark! Yummy! Went shopping in Niles last month. My Brother wanted some fudge after he saw a sign at Tyme for Tea, and made me go in. They couldn't even be bothered to wait on us. I said, "wait, I know a place", and took him to Kiki's Confections. He bought some cookies, and a container of fudge, and told the sweet owner that he'd share the fudge with me. Bratty sister me exclaimed, "NOT ME, I don't like fudge"! Well, I don't! It's too sweet, sometimes gritty, boring, blah blah blah... Hours later we're on the couch, and I wanted a treat, so I warily took a piece of the Kiki's fudge, and guess what? PURE HEAVEN!!! Creamy beyond belief with just the right amount of chocolate. Now I have to go back and buy some, because now I like fudge! Well... let's get this straight, I like Kiki's Confections fudge. I foolishly tried bites of other people's homemade fudge this Christmas, and I still don't like fudge... Got it? Good! Go! (-;

K,...firstly, I am not as experienced with cupcakes as some I suppose. Having said that, I have tasted some ridiculously great cupcakes. For instance, Kara's and Bebe's (DT Paly) are 5 stars in my book. Today I had a Carrot Spice that was really boring. It bordered on dry with far more spice than carrot. The frosting was really more of a generic cake frosting. There was little to no semblance of cream cheese in the frosting and that is a signature taste for anything calling itself carrot in the world of baked goods (imho). I also had a mini Hawaiian Pineapple which was orange in color? The owner said she uses fresh crushed pineapple. Honestly,...it tasted like an Orange Tang cupcake. The orange color should have been a big red flag. There was only a distant hint of pineapple. I would use the pineapple much less sparingly if I called a cupcake Hawaiian Pineapple. Sorry, KK fans,...this was a big miss for us. The owner is a really sweet lady but the product really missed the mark in the ultra competitive cupcake arena. Better to-go packaging would be a good idea too so that the cupcakes are not toppled over or smeared by the time you get home.

It is a VERY small little tiny sweets shop with things you could find elsewhere such as now and laters, ring pops, that kind of stuff. So for that, it was 1 star. BUT Kiki's also has homemade fudge, cupcakes, and cookies. Tried their lemon lavendar cookie sample and WOW that was a rich but lovely cookie! I was hankering for a cupcake so opted for her chocolate cupcake with cream cheese and cinnamon frosting.... SOOOO glad I did! VERY good and worth every penny of the $2.95 price. SO, the fresh stuff is 5 stars for sure. Therefore, average is a 3 star. Go in, the gal is super sweet, like the things in her store:)
