Sold me expired chocolate. I should have checked but a shame they don't check as well.

If you want chocolates, the variety is fabulous. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for in this case. Or maybe even more.

It is located in a super busy strip mall with Whole Foods. Service is always friendly at this particular See's. They continue to give samples of their chocolate. My parents only ever got the box of Nuts & Chews. Personally, I like the Cherry Cordials, Truffles, and Toffettes.

I love See's Candies! Definitely one of my fave OG spots because it's filled with so much nostalgia. The place is always so clean, the employees are usually sweet and helpful. You're able to try any chocolate you'd like, up to three! This include speciality or seasonal flavors too, which are my faves to try. You can taste the richness of the chocolate but you literally can't help but have more than one. My favorites are always the butterscotch lollipops and the nuts and chews chocolate assortment!

I've always enjoyed chocolates at See's Candies my whole life. It's one of my favorite chocolates to enjoy. This See's is located in a complex that also includes Whole Foods Market, Boudin SF and Nick The Greek. However, finding a parking spot can prove difficult. It seems most of the parking is taken by customers of Whole Foods. But, this lot could use more spaces, but that won't happen, since the complex is built-out to the max. There have been occasions where I've had to circle the lot, till a spot opened-up. Keep calm and don't let your emotions get to you. I feel bad for See's Candies, Nick The Greek and Boudin SF, since most of the cars in the lot appear to be for Whole Foods. The See's Store is clean and organized. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. Like other See's, they give a free sample to everyone who walks-in. This is a perk I really enjoy. It gives me a chance to try various chocolates that I might not otherwise try. I have noticed that over time some of the chocolates have shrunk in size. The milk and dark peanuts for example. These pieces have definitely gotten smaller. I prefer milk chocolate over dark chocolate, but I won't say "No" to dark chocolate. My favorites include the milk peanuts, milk bourdeaux, milk peppermints, milk caramel patties and milk double chocolate. I also enjoy molasses chips, almond squares, almond caramel, milk almond, chocolate butterchew and milk mocha. I also enjoy their truffles too. So, essentially most of their candies.

Last fall I bought 5 one pound boxes of Sees as a part of your Happy Habit Reward program. I received an electronic gift card for $35. I tried to use it the first week in February and was told it had expired Dec 31, 2022. There was no expiration date included with the electronic gift card! I was told the expiration date was on the card that I had to surrender when I redeemed it. I knew I had to buy my boxes by Dec 31, 2022, but I had no idea I also had to spend my gift card by that date. And they took the card that supposedly had the information on it. Anyway, I called customer service when I got home was told See's would reissue me a new gift card if I sent my card and pin numbers to [email protected]. I did. A month later I have not had a response. I feel cheated.

As always See's is the best. Lots of pre boxed treats and of course you can always pick out what you want. And of course a free sample

See's Candies cannot be described, they can only be experienced. ? ?

We typically only go to See's Candies once a year. Why? Our family loves the Nuts and Chews Box. Typically we get only the milk chocolate as that's the only one on the shelves, but if you ask, they do have the dark chocolate version that's typically stored in the back. So why the "OK" 3-Stars. Again like I said, we don't really like See's. For me, it's really sweet. I do love chocolate, I just get a headache when things are too sweet. But also the location of this place is just a little hard to visit especially during the holidays. L O C A T I O N See's Candies is located in a very small shopping area with Whole Foods and Nick the Greek. The parking lot here is just a mess during peak times. Never go when it's close to Christmas because not only are you battling people that are shopping for candies, you're battling the normal Whole Foods shopper and no one pays attention to the parking areas where it says "electric cars only." I guess it's everyone for their own at this lot. I N S I D E Every See's basically looks the same. You enter. One side are the boxed candy and also towers of seasonal smaller items. The other side are the displayed candies that you can take by piece and make your own box. In the front is the cashier. S E R V I C E What's really great about See's is that they do give you a sample candy though I feel like they only give it when you buy something at the cashier area. They used to give you one every time you come in. Maybe they still do and it was just a busy day that we came in. We easily paid with gift cards (TIP: If you go to Costco, they have gift cards which are slightly discounted, so grab the gift cards to save some money on the candy!) and credit card. We also paid for a bag which was $0.10 as usual. *EDIT* I was informed they do give out free samples regardless of whether or not you buy anything. That's always a plus. O V E R A L L Again, if you've never had See's, definitely good to try and decide yourself if you like them or not. For me, it's just too sweet for my liking. They do have a nice variety of candy from milk to dark to nutty to creme filled, etc. You may want to opt to find another See's location as this area can get a little hectic especially during the holiday season.
