Best ramen I've ever had. I've tried plenty of other spots but THIS is the spot to go to!

The food was terrific, the staff warm and attentive and the restaurant was comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed our dinner.

3.5 stars. It makes me sad to give Yokohama such a low review, but the ramen here has really gone downhill since they moved from their Union City location. I've been here twice, once to dine in and once for take out - both times, the food has been mediocre. Their black garlic ramen (my go-to) is not as flavorful as it used to be and their chicken karaage is quite bland. They provide a sauce for the chicken, however, it was a bit odd to me, tasting like a mixture of oyster sauce and hot sauce. One thing I really enjoyed was the atmosphere when dining in. They open up all their doors and it feels like an open air restaurant. Feeling the gentle breeze while eating a hot bowl of ramen is a nice touch. Overall, there are definitely better ramen places in the area, but if you want to give it a try, I'd recommend dining in for the experience.

Tsukemen’s broth is no different than normal ramen soup. Very little meat and veggie.

The skinny:Chewy noodles, Flavorful soupFilling portionDecent priceThe lengthy:We wanted ramen for lunch after doing some house remodeling. Hostess came over super quickly after she gave us menus. Ordered 2 bowls - a tonkotsu and the restaurant's name. I had the spicy before (way too spicy for me, but super good), but wanted to try the tonkotsu this time; did not disappoint. Charsiu was filling, noodles were chewy, soup was flavorful- I drank my whole bowl.$40 with t&t. I will likely be back, Lord willing :)

I'm not a big ramen fan but I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped by here for lunch! I've seen this place before when I dined in at Bill's right next door but never thought it try this place until my friend raved about it. We came in the afternoon on a Saturday and got seated immediately with no wait. I ordered the Jigoku Spicy Ramen with C level spicy. I have a pretty high spice tolerance but I also like to enjoy my food without dying, so I found C to be a good level for that. The broth is so flavorful and rich without being too oily which is something I look for when I eat ramen, as ramen often makes me feel sluggish. I surprisingly finished my bowl which I never do due to heaviness, but it was really just that good. My friend ordered the Tan Tan Men and that one was good too if you don't want something spicy. The customer service here is quick and the food is yummy, so I would definitely come back if I was in the area!

Black garlic ramen and spicy miso ramen. The black garlic lacked flavor for us. The spicy miso was the better choice of the two. I wanted more from the ramen noodles. It was filling. We came right around when they opened on a Sunday evening, no wait. Spacious and clean restaurant. Would give this location another try.

Actually went into this location and decided not to purchase anything. But that's said I'm not comfortable giving a bad review or a positive review because I never really experienced the place. All I can say is it seemed popular, and look like it might have decent food. So therefore, it's probably at least worth looking into.

Everything was a bit off. Ajitama(flavored egg) has no taste. Noodles were not ramen noodles. There were 2 chashu slices. One chashu slice was like Hong Kong style BBQ pork... The other slice was ok. Not your traditional ramen place.

Over all, taste good. Price for Iekei is more than $20 including tips. Tastes thinner than the original in Japan. Soup is hot enough and noodle is good. Toppings need to be improved.

I genuinely think this is one of the better ramen spots I've had ever. I ordered the most two basic items on the menu, one being a little spicier. Overall, soup is fire and noodles are standard. The protein is good and I think I just had a good experience here with friends. Also I see Burmese culture decorations all around the restaurant, so my pride is up here!!! (insert less than number three) Service is fast and quick.

Extremely expensive for the quality of the food and the service. Ramen had 2 deep fried, chewy pieces of meat - not the thick, melt-in-your-mouth chashu I have had at other ramen places, a piece or two of mushroom. Waitress kept us waiting a long time before coming to take our order despite the restaurant being less than half full. Disappointing.

My number one ramen spot that is somewhat close to my home! I absolutely LOVE this place, the one I order is called jigoku spicy ramen. I get the level B in spice, It is the perfect amount of spice too. The service is quick and they're so friendly! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and everyone inside is just enjoying their food. My best friend orders the black garlic ramen and it's her absolute favorite, I've tried it before and I can see why she loves it. Both broths are so flavorful and I can't get enough of it.

To be upfront, this is 5 stars only for this area with a serious lack of good Japanese food. But yes, tasty pork, nicely flavored broth (ordered rich), pretty decent noodles, decent egg. Haven't found any other place nearby with this combo. Very relaxing and soothing. Gotta counteract the current 3.5 star rating. It's really at least a 4 star, maybe 4.5 star. However nothing compared to Little Tokyo etc.
