"Terrible service. Food was cold. Sat at 7:15 and food got to our table at 8:45. Server forgot multiple dishes. Never given a steak knife. The singer played the same Disney songs multiple times. Way too expensive for the experience we had. Will not return or promote this place. We hired babysitters to go eat and then gamble at the casino. Didn’t get to gamble because we were stuck waiting for our check until 9:45."

It has so much potential, but poor execution. We ordered the bone marrow appetizer, it tasted okay. My husband got the tomahawk which was really good, but my new york with the pepper topping was noticeably missing salt and the meat was tough. My lobster bisk had huge chunks of yummy lobster in it, but the soup itself flavor didn't align and was almost sweet but not good. Our dessert toffee cake didn't taste like toffee, but a flavorless box cake. Our waitress had no idea what anything tasted like on the menu and couldn't recommend anything. She also didn't offer refills on our soda waters. I mean it's water to begin with, and it wasn't busy. Overall we were very disappointed, and the fact that they charge so much for subpar food and service is outrageous. The waitress did ask if our food was okay, and we did politely explain what we didn't like but we didn't send our food back because I didn't want just a repeat. There are so many steakhouses to choose from, they really need to do better.

Very disappointing experience. We had a 6pm reservation so we can make the 8pm show. We told our server this from the start. Service was very slow from taking our order, getting our drinks and even getting our food. We complained several times to the server and the manager about how long the food was taking. Our food finally came out at 7:40. One of the steaks was overcooked but there was no time to send it back. We asked for the check several times and had to track down the manager just to pay. We left frustrated and unimpressed with the food and service.

My steak was cooked perfectly. Our server Francisco was awesome and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back here to try the other items on the menu

For our first time here we attended a conference dinner for work. The filet mignon steak was one of the best I’ve ever had and also the cheesecake was the BEST. Several of the other attendees said the same thing. Both items made me dream of returning and we couldn’t wait! So we planned a visit for our anniversary just recently. Sadly I would have kept the five stars rating for the food but I had to take two stars off because my steak came very burnt (inedible) on both sides, as well as the potato’s were very burnt and I couldn’t eat them, not sure why it got served this way. My husband’s bone-in steak was too salty, as well as the potatos that weren’t burnt were overly salted too. Also both of us have food allergies which we told them and the waitress made it clear they don’t do substitutions despite at the bottom of the menu it tells customers to let the staff know about allergies ?‍♀️ so that was frustrating. She did concede after talking to the kitchen and did a substitution for him (he is lactose intolerant so they gave steamed veggies instead of creamed spinach, thank you!), but that was after initially refusing. I also had told her I needed to be gluten free & bread crumbs were on the creamed spinach, which gave me a bad reaction afterwards.

I was hopeful this would be our favorite steakhouse in fresno, but sadly after this experience I’m not sure if we will be returning. We would like to maybe give it one more chance? I hope they will be a little more sensitive to customers will food allergies, not burn the steak & potato’s next time (I asked for medium rare), and use a little less salt in the future.

Positive: the environment is nice and all the people working there had smiles and made it for a pleasant experience.

Dietary restrictions: Despite the menu saying to notify staff of dietary restrictions, they said they don’t “substitute” and didn’t seem to pay attention when we notified them of our allergies. But they did substitute steamed veggies for my husbands lactose allergy which was nice. But my “gluten free” request was not really noticed since I had bread crumbs on the creamed spinach

Do you want a nice getaway to relax and have a nice dinner? This is the place. The food needed work. Meet felt as though it had traveled and was previously frozen. Just tougher than expected, on all different cuts. Even the shrimp was not just over cooked, but tough. The service was great, aside from the waiter constantly apologizing for being late. I asked why they didn't just get more servers, but there was no answer. That would be my suggestion. If you want the nice ambiance to work, make sure the service extends the feeling of comfort. So don't make the servers try to cover more tables than they can to accomodate more guests. You have the space, use it. The Harp was a wonderful touch. It fit the acoustics of the room perfectly, and the Harp rendition of "Sweet Child O Mine" worked very well. The manager did come by and gave us a dessert for the food issues. And that was greatly appreciated. Me personally? I would have comped at least one meal. But in a casino restaurant, I can see how you may not have full trust in your patrons. But I can also see how you would want them to come back again and again to continue operating. So spend a few dollars making people happy to make a lot. We don't even know if we will return, and we live within a mile of the Casino Restaurant.
