If you want a nice diner and great talk, definately come here, enough space, quite ambient to actually listen your partner to have a nice chat, and also ask for Carmen at the bar, her drinks are the best, 100% worthy, ask for her signature cocktails and thank me later ???
Parking: Sincé the bar is inside the hotel, you can Park at the front or at the parking lot next to the hotel, is like 2 min walk to the bar.
Kid-friendliness: Definately suitable for Kids, nice and clean place, awesome Job DoubleTree ??

Wonderful short stay in Fullerton. The lady at the front desk was awesomely friendly and outgoing when we checked in, and we totally enjoyed the cookies and bottled waters at check-in. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Definitely a good choice and would book again.
No maid service the next day unless requested!!!! Never has that ever happened. We all took a shower and left towels on the floor assuming the housecleaning crew would be by only to be told 8 hrs later that it had to be requested. No free breakfast. For a Hilton hotel this hotel is seriously lacking in many areas. Won’t be back
But for the customer facing staff, this would have been a 2-star review. Parking area does not give guests a reasonable sense of safety. DO NOT use the garage if you can avoid it. Restaurant service is the slowest I have experienced in recent memory. 45-minutes from the time of order to the arrival of food, and this was breakfast during when they were not busy (only 4 other diners, all of whom had similar experiences). Don't bother, go to the Denny's next door for your breakfast. My room had a loose sink faucet, a toilet seat that needs to be replaced and a TV that required programming (a thumb drive) to work with the streaming service that the hotel subscribes to.
Stayed for a week for business. -At check-in I asked if there were any upgrades and was told that if I wanted an upgrade that I need to telephone prior to arriving? I am Diamond at Hilton and Globalist at Hyatt and have never heard of such a policy. The front desk agent told me that all of the complimentary upgrades were taken by people who followed this policy?? -Pool was closed the whole week for maintenance. -Bar serves drinks in thick plastic barware. Not terrible, but odd. -Room was fine except the only window was tiny and in the corner. -I was worried about my rental car because of previous reviews, but I had a nice BMW and no trouble to it. -All of the other reviews speaking to lack of coffee and breakfast are true, but Honor members get a $15 per person credit on their bill to use against food/bar. There is regular creamer in the rooms not powder which is a slight bonus. -Gas station market next to the hotel and I think the only market in CA that doesn't sell beer.
We have been traveling for club baseball for 10 years and this is the first time we have had this kind of thing happen. We stayed for 3 nights and on the morning that we were checking out we came out to the parking garage to find that the rear lift gate window of our Suburban had been smashed in and some of our baseball equipment had been thrown on the ground, I’m assuming our alarm scared the wanna be thieves and that’s why thankfully nothing was taken; but it did cost us our $500 insurance deductible to have the window and surface damage repaired. When we brought it to the front desks attention they called the so called security guard and he was real quick to point out the signs posted stating that they aren’t responsible for any damage to vehicles. Ok fine, but what they should be responsible for is the safety and security of their customers. Why don’t they do anything about the homeless that are sleeping in the stairwell of the garage, yes we told them, and the vagrants that are living in the broken down RV in the parking lot? We are loyal Hilton Diamond Members but this experience is leaving a very bad taste in our mouth and we are very disappointed. If you have to stay here definitely remove as much as you can from your vehicle and park in the Diamond Member parking, if you can, there weren’t any spaces open when we arrived so that’s why we had to park in the garage.
Arrived at 8pm only to be told that the restaurant is closed despite being open until 10pm. Apparently Christina closes the kitchen whenever she wants. Foolish me booked a hotel with a restaurant expecting it to honor its published hours. Bar was also supposed to be open until 10pm, but was dark by the time we came back down from checking into our room (~8:30pm). While the room was quiet, the floor was filthy with stains and the room reeked of wet dog.

This hotel exceeded our expectations… very clean and nicely decorated in a contemporary high-end way. The location was perfect for us, as we were in town for a conference. Great restaurants close by, nice neighborhood, convenient to the freeway. Quiet and calm, couldn’t hear any traffic noise! Nice and comfortable bedding. Great value for the money. Nice restaurant and lounge inside of hotel as well.
Good value, excelent location, unique place. The choices to see the neighborhood are good, great places to eat and walk around, feels safe place. It is a small facility in comparison to other Doubletree places, but it does have the basics and well furnished
Booked hotel well in advance to attend a wedding in the area. Two of our three reservations were for double queen rooms however upon arrival they only had single King rooms. Management tried to blame it on booking.com so I called booking.com while standing at the front desk and they confirmed that the info sent by them to the hotel was in fact correct. Even after being caught lying to my face, they never accepted responsibility and never offered some sort of refund or anything for that matter and said there was nothing they could do because they were already overbooked. The manager was unavailable for the entire afternoon and evening so we had absolutely no options which was clearly another lie. Thus, we had 70-80 year old’s sleeping on pull-out couches and kids sleeping on the disgusting floor. FYI, I also learned that they also have no management on-site on Sunday’s, odd isn’t it. booking.com actually tried to help with follow-up calls and emails in which a $30 refund was eventually offered, kudos to them for actual customer service, I declined and stopped payment on my CC.
This hotel was our home away from home for a week. It is walking distance to Cal State Fullerton and was also near a family wedding at the fabulous Summit House. Since it was less than ten minutes to the venue it was the perfect place to stay. There were a couple convenience stores close for snacks since we did not have a car. Denny's is right next door which was great. We were greeted every morning for breakfast by our pleasant server named Imelda R. She was so nice and a hard worker. I would want her on my team as I know she would pitch in to help anyone. She made our breakfast so much more special. The front desk staff was also very nice and friendly, although I did not get their names. I looked for their name tags. The other aspect I will remember about this hotel were the comfy beds!
