I normally don’t comment on food but we liked this place. First time there and food was excellent. My family and I really enjoyed sample platter which had so many variety of flavors. Really enjoyed that. The owner and service was cool too. We’ll be back!

Summer rolls were the best. We also had the crispy fried mushroom which was nice and a noodle dish with chicken salad.

The Bún Hûe and the Crispy Deep Fried Mushrooms were recommended to me by my server. Both dishes were very delicious. Their menu has many items specifically labeled vegan. Stick with the vegan labeled items as the protein sources in the other dishes may contain whey as per the server. The restaurant space is okay, nothing fancy. Overall, great food. Highly recommend.

I’m very picky with restaurant food so I rarely eat out but I’ll make an exception for only 4 restaurants in SoCal and this is one of them (Sun Vegan is the only other vegan restaurant I’ll eat at). Vegan Vietnamese food is my favorite type of cuisine and I like the flavors here because their food isn’t overly salty, sweet or fatty and tastes clean overall. They have interesting options and the vegan bahn xeo is the best version I’ve had. In the summer they have pre-cut jackfruit which I love. The only downside is it’s pretty expensive (but the portion is a good size) so I usually split a dish.

Great food and friendly staff! Simon is really cool, and David was most hospitable. Get his recommendations on what to order!! We had the Banh Uot Cha Lau and Hoanh Thanh Soup. Everything was delicious. We even picked up a couple prepared items to bring back home to Indiana. Bo De is Bodhi in Vietnamese, means enlightenment. They’re only open 6 hours a day. Those who know, go.

This place has delicious food! My favorite is the Mi Xao Gion (crispy noodles stir fry). I think this vegetarian version tastes superior to other non-vegetarian restaurants because of the recipe they have here and the way they cook the noodles (very crispy but not oily at all). Even if you don't usually go vegetarian you should try the food here, I'm sure you will like it!
