Simply as a study spot (pre-quarantine), I'd give it 4 stars. It's very "aesthetic", lots of seating, and relatively quiet. The only downside is it can get crowded on weekends and their wifi can slow down. Drinks-wise, their selection is pretty average in comparison to other boba shops. Nothing really stood out..other than the fact that they have no plant-based milks. Especially since almost every other boba/coffee shop had multiple even, this puts them at a disadvantage. I would only buy a drink if I were studying to be polite, but I wouldn't ever casually buy a drink here out of craving. If the owners are reading this, PLEASE implement some plant-based milk options! So many people are lactose intolerant or vegan. It is also so much better for the environment.

This place deserves better. It had so much potential when it first opened but it's been going downhill with each of my visit. Pros: -decent coffee -nice decorations -spacious -quick service -outlets along the wall Cons: -from morning to sunset, the seats by the large glass windows are bright and hot. It's impossible to see my laptop screen because of the sun glare. I dont know why the owner doesnt install blinds or curtains to fix such a simple problem. Having my back to that window also leaves my back burning. -the tables are not the right height compared to the provided chairs and booths. Expect back pains and sore neck. Its better to sit at the tall table in the middle, but that doesnt come with outlets -recently they started selling food. The whole coffee shop smells like rancid fry oil. Staying in there for 1+ hr will leave you smelling funky.

I really loved this place and I agree with the other people who rated this place as a 4 star and a 5 star place to go to and so on.(Recommended)

A classmate suggested we'd come here to study. I ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee. I enjoyed the taste, but it had way too much ice. The environment is pretty cozy and a perfect study spot. I'm excited to try more things on the menu.

TIP: They have their WIFI info on a board right next to the register :) Okay, I don't know if other people love coconut coffee as much as me, but whenever I would bring it up to my friends they're always like "coconut coffee...what is that?" So it's been a long time since I have had good coconut coffee. I'm glad to have found this place because their coconut coffee is partially blended. It's kind of like a frosty coffee-so so good! Also, (at least to me) the coconut coffee is very strong so you will stay caffeinated my friends! Worry not. This is also a GREAT study spot. Nice comfy seats, some Korean music (I don't know if this changes but when my boyfriend and I went, that was what they were playing) playing softly in the background, big tables (so you can spread out all your supplies), and ALSO the bathroom is SUPER clean. I appreciate a clean bathroom. Only downside is it is quite small, so there might be a chance that you won't snag a table depending on what time you come in. Other than that, the barista was nice and made great drinks, the other customers (at least when we went) were in full on study mode so it wasn't super loud in there which was great, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and inviting.

Dropped by here about a week ago with my buddies late at night. Two of us got the Vietname iced coffee aka ca phe sua da and the other got the Vietname coffee with cheese foam on top. The overall environment is chill and there is board games, cards, and manga. This could also be a potential study spot with the in-store WiFi and seating available. My group ended up playing cards while drinking our coffees. I enjoyed my Vietname iced coffee. It was standard drip coffee with condensed milk. The price wasn't bad either. My buddy who got his with cheese cream found his drink to be splendid. Def would recommend this spot if you want a coffee or tea drink while being able to chill with friends.

Came today and got an oolong milk tea, honestly didn't taste like oolong but it wasn't too bad. I feel like the tea could've been stronger. The place is pretty nice to study at, there are a lot of outlets and plenty of seats and tables. One of the main reasons for my low rating is that this place smelled soooooooo greasy and fried for the whole 4 hours that I was there. I thought I'd eventually get used to the scent but it was progressively getting worse where I left with my hair and all my clothes smelling like a fryer.

Looking to try something new in an area filled with boba spots, I came across Old Quarter. With Tastea and Tan-cha in the same plaza, both well known, I would imagine it being hard being an unknown name. To my surprise, there were people there on a Thursday night. Old Quarter seems to be a nice place to get some studying done. Drinks: -Oolong Milk Tea: the milk tea had a nice earthy tea flavor to it. I believe they use real milk as opposed to non dairy creamer, I can tell by the foam that's created after it's shaken. While I appreciate the relatively strong tea taste, it was a bit too sweet for me. I could have probably asked to adjust the sweetness level but since it was my first time I opted to try it as is. A pet peeve of mine is when the drink isn't filled to the top, which is what happened here. Knowing that there would be foam, there should be more of the actual drink. With the foam and gap from the lid, there was a bit of room that could have been filled. Service: Despite it not being busy, I would have hoped for better service. The girl was not friendly and didn't serve me with a smile or attempt to. I didn't even get a chance to ask any questions or add a topping. It did seem like I was annoying her just by ordering :// I know it's hard to always have the best attitude at work because I work in customer service as well, but it wouldn't hurt to create a better experience. Nevertheless, it could have been worse. Decor/Store: The place is definitely decorated nice and I loved the design. The name fits well with the vibe they were going for. There are games, a printer, and plenty of tables to study. One of the things that I noticed right away when walking in was the bad fryer oil smell. Nothing was cooking, but the smell wafted towards the entire front area. Better ventilation is definitely needed to absorb the strong smell. I am not always down in the area anymore so I probably won't be stopping by for awhile, but I would definitely like to try some more of the drinks. I will update my review if I do return! All I can say is that they are open until 11 so it's a great place to study and it's not busy! Give them a chance and try something new outside of the main boba spots.

This is a nice little hangout coffee spot. Cute interiors that remind me of Old Quarter Hanoi, hence the name. Service is fine. I like this place when there aren't a lot of people so I'm strategic when I'm here. The Vietnamese coffee here is ok, could've been stronger. The music selection is from kpop to pop to electronic, a bit loud for my old self so it's hard to concentrate on work. But overall it's a good place to hang out.

Wish I found this place sooner- the perfect spot to study! Not too loud, not too quiet, and not too busy. This is my favorite place to come to when I wanna be productive and get work done. I just wished they had a curtain for the bigger window because it can get really warm and sunny. Their drinks and waffle are delicious as well! One downside I would say is that the parking lot can get packed, but other than that I would definitely recommend to those in the area.

Such a cute place to study or just drink your boba. Parking is easy! They even have a printer for you if you need to print anything out for $0.10 or so. The drinks are delicious. I just love their decor.

They only have regular milk. No almond/coconut etc.

I've never had coconut coffee until I tried from here, and I fell in love!!! The coconut coffee is always on point!! There's also plenty of seating to study/ get work done with TONS of outlets!! Literally an outlet at every single table. There's a printer to print stuff out as well. Overall, great place to study and hangout!!

Good place to study, but my only concern is those people who take up a lot of space, and sitting on the group study table. If youre by yourself be considerate and sit on one of the small tables you dipshit. you know who you are! Also, if you only go there just to study and not order anything, you're being a total A hole. This is not a public library!

A classmate of mine brought up the idea to study at this cafe, and I'm super glad I did not turn that down. I've been back more after this with different people, and probably more in the future too. I love the coconut coffee here, and I highly recommend all the coffee-lovers out there to try it. Pros: Great place to study as they have plenty of outlets, plenty of tables, awesome ambiance, and mellow music. They also have a printer for you to use! Even if you come here with not with the intention of studying or working on a project, this is a wonderful place to just hang out with friends. The cafe is designed with old school Vietnam image in mind--very retro and unique. They have cute decorations all throughout the cafe, and even a bookshelf filled with Vietnamese books and comics. It brings back childhood memories for those 90s babies for sure. Cons: It's located in a plaza where there are more people visiting than there are parking, and all the old Asian grandmas going to the supermarket next door drive very scarily. Parking spaces are super limited, and they are small too. And the location is not pet-friendly.
