Good Italian food with lots of pasta options and vegetarian plates. Tomato soup was good but not great. Ravioli was delicious. The incessant roar of tenors singing Italian opera quickly grew tiresome. I would have liked more mellow music.

I just love this place in Grass Valley. Best Italian food I have had in a long time. I tend to order the Chicken Picatta alot but my friends have ordered almost everything else on the menu and it is superb.

good night

My fiancé and I enjoyed a lovey dinner here. Bread is brought to you almost immediately after being seated. The large variety of gluten free options was amazing! A VERY traditional alfredo sauce that is actually GF! No flour needed when you know what you’re doing. I ordered the Scaloppine Marsala and it was DIVINE. Chicken so tender it melts in your mouth, delicious polenta and fresh veg, yum yum yum. Also almost immediately upon receiving our food fresh parmesan and cracked pepper was offered. We also had the panna cotta, the employee who took our dessert order also brought over some raspberry sauce without even asking because it was her favorite way to eat the panna cotta and boy was she right! Overall, a wonderful dinner for a decent price given the quality and quantity!Dietary restrictions: Wonderful with gluten allergy and accommodation. My celiac fiancé had no upset stomach at all!

It's a very old house. The building needs renovation badly. Good food, no cocktails, just beer and wine. Service was poor, and staff was not trained on how to serve. Very cold inside, and our group was freezing, when we said that to the server he said he could not change anything.

New Years eve dinner. Awesome pork shank and the chiopinno. Service was the best we've had in a long time in Grass Valley.

Unfortunately, this restaurant does not cook authentic Italian style. The sauce taste like salty jar sauce with extra salt, can't taste any herbs or garlic or tomatoes! The staff are great, but the food is sloppy.

Made a reservation, got seated right away. Very friendly and attentive service. My rack of lamb with Gnocchi Gorgonzola was very tasty, although I have to say, the Gnocchi Gorgonzola I make at home is better. We weren't going to have desert but decided to split a Tiramisu and were were glad we did.

Definitely not coming back. Honest review from an Italian (no, not a fourth generation fake Italian - I moved to the USA five years ago) , nothing in this place is Italian except probably the freshly grated Parmesan. The Aperol Spritz was mostly only Prosecco, barely any orange from the Aperol . I got the snapper from the special menu - absolutely overcooked, with a sauce that resembled more the consistency of a soup that a sauce. Yellow rice overcooked (was it an attempt to make zafferano risotto?). Veggies completely meaningless. Presentation terrible . The menu's is Americanized with only Italian names - spelled correctly surprisingly. They serve garlic bread - no restaurant in Italy serves garlic bread, that's totally American. The food was not authentic and lack luster of flavor. Let alone the waitress never smiled once. They get two stars from my husband saying that the ribeye was cooked to perfection.

Excellent service, charming ambiance and good, solid Italian food. They weee able to graciously accommodate a large party reservation somewhat last minute with ease. Thanks for an enjoyable and satisfying experience!
