This is my go-to Thai restaurant in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area. Every time I've been here the food is always fresh, delicious, and authentic. I have spent a lot of time in Thailand and this place has really brought the real flavors. The Bangkok Chicken and the Pad Thai are incredible.However, to be honest, one of my favorite parts of dining here is the service. They have the cutest, friendliest waitress who makes my dining experience an absolute joy.

Will only give 3 stars! Ordered honey ribs before when we dine in it was freshly cooked and so good! But when I ordered for pick a week ago I received an old ribs like 1 day old. It’s not freshly cooked u can tell cause the ribs so dry and hard. Hope they do better with ribs!

This nice Thai restaurant is located in a mall area but sits by itself on the edge of the parking lot. We enjoyed it very much. Great food, nice service, food arrived quickly, and a nice environment. We will definitely be back.

My mom's birthday week merited her choice of lunch one day, so we ended up at Chandara. Refreshing iced Thai tea started us off right. We had the appetizer spring roll - insides were tasty, but rice paper was very tough (maybe they make the rolls ahead - could benefit from another dip in water just before serving so they would be more tender). Plenty of peanut sauce. We paired that with a yummy chicken pad Thai and cool sweet/sour cucumber salad (and some more peanut sauce!). We will be back!
Pad see ew has always been my comfort food and I have ordered it dozens of times from many restaurants across the country. This was, by far, the best pad see ew that I've ever had!

I have eaten here before and everything was okay, not this time! I ordered online and asked specifically for my curry to be prepared as very mild. Instead I got extra spicy and couldn't eat it at all. When I called for a refund, they refused and said I would have to call DoorDash which I did and they said I would have to call the restaurant-I got the typical runaround. I tried to fill out an online form for the restaurant and it didn't go through. We live in a small town where this kind of poor customer service will not keep this restaurant in business.

The food is always incredible. The service is quick. Our favorites are the pineapple rice with shrimp, and the red tofu with three chilies.

I had a chicken curry dish, and the flavors were good, but I literally only got 3 little pieces of chicken in the bowl, the rest was cheap vegetables and it was over $12.How expensive is chicken?Over priced and pathetic portions.Stop being cheap skates.

Excellent food. I have never been disappointed. Sometimes the spice level can be a little off. I like spicy food and on some occasions it is not quite spicy enough and friends found the opposite where mild was to spicy for them (their meals did have quite a bit of heat). The flavor however is always great.Service is a bit hit and miss and can vary from excellent to slow and doesn't seem to be affected by the number of diners. The service problems at times would be the only reason for not giving 5 stars.I think the restaurant ambience is very good. Clean and well set out.Overall Chandara is our favorite Thai restaurant and we will continue to enjoy their tasty food.
