I thought their food was really good and their salsa with their chips is completely addictive. We just got the basics for take out - enchiladas, burrito, etc.; it was all excellent. And the service was exceedingly friendly, which is so important these days. While we waited for the food, sister and I had margaritas which were also yum!

This place was absolutely PHENOMENAL! The food was amazing, the employees are SO nice, and it just feels so peaceful and positive in here! The employees are laid back, friendly, and very attentive! Refills are very quick, and food is served at a quick pace while still being extremely high quality, and not even expensive!100% recommend, would come back again!

An interesting place to eat. Not quite one thing or the other, but good none the less. If I went back, which I probably will, I will have more of the smaller bites, which were better than the entries. The mole was excellent, and I wish I'd ordered the traditional mole versus the pumpkin seed mole. The traditional one was great, smoky, complex, layers of flavor. The small bites with multiple tastes are excellent also- just mysterious enough so that you wondered what was in them but couldn't really guess. The atmosphere was as loud as it could be without being deafening. I hope someday for restaurants to attend to the fact that large boomy rooms and alcohol are echo chambers for the stupid. I also think the atmosphere was detracted by televisions with sports on. Be a sports bar or a restaurant. decide, but not both- it makes neither very personable.

My parents and I stopped by Maya's on a cold rainy day for lunch and all three of us were really impressed. The service was friendly and efficient..The bathrooms were well appointed and nice and clean. The food was excellent. My parents both had Huevos Rancheros - two different ways and both were delicious. My dad had Huevos Rancheros with Chile Verde on top, and my mother had Huevos Rancheros with her eggs scrambled-excellente. I had a Taco, Enchilada, & Chile Relleno-all of which were very good-even left over. Rice and beans were very good and the side of flour tortillas were homemade. I will definitely be going back to Maya's.

They are becoming a sit down restaurant with excellent table service. My combo plate with generously served on a beautiful oversized square plate. Beautiful!! The food is a good version of standard Mexican fare.

Everything was good! Friendly and fast service. A little something for everyone! If you need a quick bite with the family this is a good place to come. They remodeled since I was in last. It's much more upgraded with a large bar and cocktail menu. I don't drink. But for those avid tequila lovers you won't be disappointed.

Staple Mexican food; good menudo; it's a slightly better upscale take-out with some seating. They now serve drinks/cocktails; so it's worth a stop if you're in Grass Valley.
