The most identical same taste from Osaka, Japan. I still remember the taste of the creamy & nutty Pork Cutlet Curry. It remember me on that trip. The trip is 14 days. Everyday in dinner I order this food. I just craving it. Wonderful!!! You all should try it. But missing one portion? The Japanese Pickled Ginger. Hope the owner can make this. I mark this restaurant as the most so far the best Pork Cutlet Curry I were ever tasted.

Stumbled upon this cute Japanese ramen house in Hacienda Heights, and I'm glad I did! We visited around 6pm and there were only a few people. An hour later, the restaurant was full. It's a small, quiet restaurant with a cozy atmosphere located inside a shopping plaza. Parking is free. We ordered the Kotteri Tonkotsu ramen, takoyaki, and chashu roasted pork. All were tasty and very well- seasoned. Service was slow as there were only 2 servers at the time attending to all customers and to-go orders. They were nice and got our order quickly; but since they were so busy, they're unable to check on customers on water refill, etc. Price was reasonable. They can only split the bill into 2 credit cards per table. Overall, Tamaya is a good place to visit if you're craving ramen and Japanese appetizers. Will be back ;)

Solid ramen in Hacienda Heights strip mall of all places! This is our family's new favorite ramen spot. I love tonkotsu ramen, but a lot of places that used to be great are no longer as good. At a lot of places we used to frequent, the chashu pork got paper thin or they are charging for each topping so you end up with a $25+ ramen. I am sooo happy we found Tamaya. The kotteri ramen I ordered was amazing and it came with two half eggs, instead of just one like everywhere else. The broth was just so good. I had to order extra noodles because my 6 year old (who ordered another dish) wanted ramen as well. They gave me a huge portion of extra noodles that were cooked perfectly al dente. The prices are so good here and the servers are soooo kind. This place is very kid friendly. This restaurant is small so we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table even though we went at an off hour. But it was fine, there is a huge Daiso in a few shops down. I can't wait to try the other ramen on the menu.

This is actually my first time eating ramen. The broth was tasty and filling of veggies. It had enough beef and noodles. The atmosphere was mostly quiet

We love Tamaya! They have delicious soup and fried rice! Their Kobe beef soup is the best!

Ive been coming here for 10+ years. It's my favorite go to spot. Their katsu curry is amazing. The katsu is cooked to perfection. Their Tsukemen dipping noodle is my 2nd favorite and something everyone should try at least once. The ramen is traditional Japanese style and flavoring and truly authentic. This is Japanese owned and is one of the last few Japanese owned restaurants in this area. The waitresses are friendly and always helpful and quick. I love this place.

Not sure how this is only 3.9 stars as the food is high quality and the service is always impressive. It's not the largest facility so it might take a moment if you have a large party. I often order take out and have never been disappointed. I must have ordered out 20 times by now and not once has there ever been something wrong with my order. They have some of the best ramen in town and their pan-fried gyoza are incredible.

This place is super underrated for a ramen place in Rowland Heights, City of Industry, and especially Hacienda Heights! As soon as we arrived, the guy who worked as the server instantaneously greeted & got us seated. The place was a bit tiny but still comfortable & expect to wait if it's full. I ordered Chicken Karaage & Kotteri Tonkotsu, while my dad ordered Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. The lady that served the food also had a very good attitude to all the customers. Both the chicken dishes come with juicy & huge chunks of chicken & kudos for the crunchiness of the karaage, and it's cheaper than any other Japanese place that I've ever been. Here comes the ramen. The ramen came with a super thick & rich Tonkotsu broth, thick noodle, & huge amount of bean sprouts that I really enjoy it! I will definitely recommend this place & look forward to coming back here again!
