This place never disappoints! Great salads and dressings. Not to mention soups of the day. Yum. Bought a loaf of 7up cake today!

This is a small cafe inside an office building. Every day there is a different unique soup of the day, all personal recipes of the owner. Everything is made with fresh ingredients. The owner makes ranch and green salsa from scratch. She has a diverse menu for breakfast and lunch. The portions are large so I always have some left over for dinner or snack next day.

Gail has a great selection of soup, salad, and the Breakfast Churizo Burritos on Wednesdays are awesome! Cash Only though.

Great breakfast burritos and salads.

Cash only - the maps listing says they take Apple Pay but they do not. Get with the times!

Great homemade soups and sandwiches. Lunch specials everyday. Small breakfast menu. Limited seating. Usually open till 12:30 Monday thru Friday.

Great soups, salads and specials. The cafe is primarily a frequently visited place for the staff who work throughout the building. Some clients visit as well. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good. The hours are limited though and generally closes around 1pm. It's best to call your order in early in the morning, so all the good stuff doesn't sell out.

Simply put: We're here for the soup. The Hungarian Goulash is soooo yummy! We make sure to order in advance because it sells out, fast! I plan on trying their salads one of these days but I'm still stuck on the soup. I wish they accepted credit cards, but there is an ATM in the building. *Keep in mind, there's a $3 fee.*

Simply outstanding soups...... Salads and daily specials are good to... but i go as much as possible for the soup..... every day is s new soup. Homemade in the morning ready by 10:30/11am.. normally of you don't get there early or call to reserve your soup... it's gone by 12:30/1.... i found this magical place while at the hayward court across the street... I'm so happy because it's like the prefect... "i just want good soup" day... the brownies are to die for as well...

Pleasant staff; food is great; long lines most of the times.

It's the year 2016, get a credit card machine already! Food is good, but I don't see myself going here again until they get a credit card machine. "Cash only" places should've went away ten years ago.

This place is awesome! The 5 start rating is due to location(I work in the building), freshness(I see the staff coming in with FRESH produce each day!), and they REMEMBER my name! I would go here even if I didn't work in the building, but due to the parking fees, I may not. The cheaper prices DO OFFSET parking fees though! :) Veggie sandwich and homemade soups are amazing! Breakfast sandwich is a good option and is under $3. Prices are good!! You get plenty of food without feeling stuffed and you know you've just had more of a "homemade" meal than a "commercial" meal. I definitely recommend. Update* after being here several times, I find the sandwiches are not consistent. Maybe this has to do with the "homemade" cooking, but as a customer, I don't like loving a sandwich and then getting the same thing a week later that is very different.

Granted, there are limited food options in this vicinity which could help boost the stars in this review. The other reviews are spot on though. This place delivers a quality lunch. Everything tastes super homemade (in a good way) I usually get a sandwich (all are good) with the yummy yummy potato salad as a side. The soups of the day are awesome but you usually need to call ahead to "reserve" it. Calling your order in is the way to go because there's always a line!

Soup on point. Pastrami sandwich on point. Potato salad on point. Sourdough with butter on point.
