Went to check this place out today at one of their pop ups in Hayward near the Amtrak station and was disappointed. I got their OG Esquite because I was craving corn and what I took home was underwhelming. I should have checked the product before I left but assumed that the chile might be underneath all of the cheese.. nope! For 6 dollars for a small container of corn and cheese with no taste of lime and no hot sauce or chile powder, just corn, cheese and Mayo. It wasn't busy to forget the rest of the ingredients.. sadly very underwhelmed. The lady didn't offer any of the toppings that might be missing either.

If you have not tried any of the Mexican food items from Crazy Corn Haystack, you are definitely missing out! I tried the Ramen Birria for the first time last night and it was so tasty. The thought of mixing birria and ramen soup together may not sound appetizing at first but it is delicious, warm and definitely worth a try! I highly recommend ordering the quesabirrias with a side of consomé. The quesabirrias are kind of like tacos but it's a combination of cheese, cilantro, onion and this juicy birria inside the tortilla all melted in together like a fat juicy taco. Bianca is an amazing human. I saw her post on the Hayward FB page about how she wanted to thank front liners for their work during this shelter in place/COVID-19 pandemic. Bianca and her team made trays to drop off at the mental health facility that I work at today. The staff loved the food. I'm home sick and didn't get to try it but everyone said it was fantastic! Thank you Bianca for the food, the kind gesture and for being an incredibly awesome human being.

We had hired Crazy Corn Haystack services last August for our wedding of over 100 people! We had an amazing elote and raspado bar! Everyone loved the corn and snow cones and to this day we get asked who they were! The owner is very friendly, professional and has an amazing menu she puts love and care into! Crazy Corn Haystack made our special day so much more special with the amazing comfort food of our childhood! Support this amazing small business they can handle any size event!

One of the best vendors I've ever hired! Bianca and her team were perfect for our fiesta themed baby shower in August! They catered fruit cups, elotes, and corn in a cup with a variety of different toppings and chip flavors (cool ranch Doritos, flamin hot Funyuns.. etc.) everything was delicious and the TALK of the party! It's such a fun twist on your average treats at a party! I would definitely hire them again! Thank you Crazy Corn Haystack!
This place is a hidden gem. The corn, the nachos, and the newly added nacho fries are amazing. Plus the owner is extremely friendly. So my girlfriend and I come here when we want a quick snack. We usually get the elote in a cup. The owner puts a couple scoops of corn then adds some mayo and then adds some more corn and adds some more mayo and puts chip crumbs and it taste amazing! We've also gotten the nachos and the agua fresca and they are amazing as well. I just feel everyone should try this place out.

Who doesn't like corn?! They make corn fun. You can choose from corn on the cob or corn in a cup. Then add toppings such as mayonnaise, cheese, hot chips crushed, lime and hot sauce. They also have hot chip nachos and other items such as drinks that I haven't yet tried. They did not shy away from filling up the cup to the top, which is worth the $4 they currently charge for it. They are conveniently located right off the 880 freeway and accept Venmo which is also convenient. Add them on social media and you can find out when they're open and where they are when they change locations. They went to Mt. Eden high school after suggestions on social media and even showed up at at local bar late night to feed the drunk munchies. They also do catering events. Affordable, delicious and great customer service, I definitely recommend checking them out.
