Don't sleep on this place, best fried fish hands down.Don't let the wait scare you, it is worth it. Staff was cool, seems like a family run type spot. Remember its a take out window only and they are busy, know what you want and dont waste time at window wondering or being picky, there are always a lot of people waiting. I ordered fish (red snapper) and prawns, in about 30 mins my order was ready, it traveled well, was not soggy at all when I got home. Everything was bomb, excellent, fish was flaky and fresh. Highly recommended!

I love this place, the younger people are always so sweet and kind. The food is always super fresh, this the only place in the Bay Area that have great fish. Reminds me of old school Ms.Emma’s on Market Street in west Oakland. Only place I’ll ever go to for fish… ❤️

They were out of nearly everything I tried to order and it wasn't near closing time or even dinner. My wings and fish were overly fried. I gave 2 stars because the service was quick.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! it was so good, my friend referred me and I'm so glad I went, the chicken wings were so crispy and big and the catfish was AMAZING! SEASONED PERFECT!! literally every bite was full of flavor! The owner was so nice and welcoming and the cashier was so sweet and made sure my order was completely right before handing it to me. No long waits and worth every penny! I highly recommend this place
The fried catfish here is the GOAT. If you're ever craving catfish, you gotta go here. No other place compares. They're strictly business around here, you get what you order. I went somewhat during Covid so I'm not sure if they even have indoor dining

Coming from the mid west I never found any good friend fish in California UNTIL I went to this place. WOW WOW!!! The fried fish MELTS in your mouth!It is all "order out" and your choice of just about any kind of fish you want: catfish, sole, snapper etc....all cooked to order. I place my order and walk across the lot to the little bar next door, Sherade and they deliver it to me there so I enjoy hot fried fish with a beer or cocktail! Also the combo meal that has chicken is enough to share for 2.

I been coming here for 15 years since I work nearby. Always consistently good. Fried chicken, catfish, butterfly fried prawns, fries are all my go to. Pro tip if you like it spicy, tell them to make it all spicy. If not it'll come out without the spicy seasoning. Btw this is "V" from down the block.
