Solid farmer's market in downtown Hayward every Saturday morning up to 1pm. Next to the Hayward public library and Buddy's coffee shop. We would go in the mornings but then we started to go after noon now given some vendors provide discounts to rid of their inventory and there's less people. We usually find parking on the streets but if there aren't any, there are tons of parking in the garage which is right next to the farmer's market. I came to the market this morning and met a friend. Between the two of us, we purchased from 4-5 vendors. All of the vendors were so nice and they were separated by tape. It was easy to get items without touching them since the vendors had done such a good job of placing and showing the different produce. The new protocol changes for covid (lines around the stalls) don't account for accessibility, going up curbs that wheelchairs can't. Other than that, the produce is good and the vendors nice. Could use more shaded areas for the covid lines too, especially in hundred degree weather.
