One night two months ago, I accidentally stumbled upon a takeout window next door to the Salvadoran pupusa place. I was hungry, pupusa place was closed, and iBird Chef promised me food in 15 minutes, so I gave it a shot. Ever since, I had tried to go back three separate times--each time it was closed! I started to question my reality: did I actually get food from iBird or was it a dream? If it was a dream, it was a great dream! Chicken 65 biryani was one of the best (and spiciest) I've had! It was the first time i had chicken modilee--very strong and deep smokey flavored. I also ordered handi subzi; while it was the most bland among the three dishes, it was a great compliment since others were very spicy but all enjoyable! I also like the fact that they have the weight of each item so you'd know exactly the amount of food you're getting. I hope that this place isn't a unicorn, and I can go back and try the Indo-Chinese items on the menu!

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the food. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable.

Wow!! To be honest when we first ordered we were not expecting much because we are always disappointed by Indian restaurants in the Bay Area (food is always watered down to western palate and ingredients are subpar). But we were tempted by the extensive menu even though there weren't many reviews. We got kofta, gobi manchurian, and a couple paneer appetizers and all we can say as picky food gourmands is that this is THE BEST offering of Indian food we have had outside of India. They used rich ingredients, were generous with the spices and the food was so flavorful and cooked so well. It was the best meal we have had in a long time and that is saying something considering how picky we are. We can't wait to try the rest of the menu and if you are looking some Indian food, highly, highly recommend.

I decided I would try Ibird and had food delivered. I had no idea what to expect so I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Especially since the last timer I bought Indo-Chinese food from another store it was so bad it ended up in the compost bin. Not only was the food tasty the portions are big and reasonably priced. The gobi and the mushrooms I loved, the hakka noodles were a bit too salty for me. I recommend Ibird - good food, good portions, and a great value, I will buy from them again.

So glad we found this new business opened recently in the Hayward/UC area. Tried takeout twice in the last week. All the Indo-chinese and Indian items we tried were very good - gobi/paneer/mix veg manchurian, chili chicken, szechuan/hakka noodles. Also the chicken/paneer biryanis and andhra fish curry were great. Fresh ingredients, authentic taste, very good quality for reasonable prices. Surely will return many times to try other dishes and give our business.

What a find !!! Was browsing through yelp and found this place , got excited with the extensive and diverse offerings and placed a dash order. Eats - Chicken 65 fried rice , Andhra pomfret curry, koli varutha kari (chicken) ,chicken lollipops, pistachios rabadi gulab jamun Idea was to try out different dishes and have a say all dishes blew my tastebuds. My personal favorites are Koli varutha kari and pomfret curry. Both authentic and loaded with flavors. Rabadi gulab jamun is good too. I can say i will be a regular here and would refer my friends and family to this place.

I called the Chef because I wanted biryani and I know that he has the best. As usual, he didn’t disappoint. I got a family meal for 6 and there was plenty of food for everyone with leftovers! We had vegetarian options too. Definitely check this place out!

Our daughter brought home vegetable biryani, chicken curry, spinach kofta, tandoori kabob and Arita. It was delicious; the spices were just right and the curry was smooth and well balanced. Such a treat. Definitely recommend the food. Please support this business during this difficult time. Well worth it
