Delicious tandoori chicken(by Indian standards too)!!! My husband stumbled upon this place and picked up my favorite dish, tandoori chicken. I'm very picky when it come to Indian/ Nepalese food but this one is a clear go to place for me!! Loved their food!!!

Friendly service and good food. Great place for vegan options. They have a new management now and are going to soon change their name to Aama's Kitchen.

Nepalese cuisine in Hayward? Yes! First time trying out this restaurant after I purchased a gift card during a promotion run by the City of Hayward or else I wouldn't have known this place even existed. The entrance was easy to miss because it's located on busy Foothill Blvd. I've always been able to find ample parking along the streets. As you walk in, a chef is already busy making the naan at the window. Inside is larger than I expected because there were two sections with ample seating. The owner at the front register is very friendly and offered us free vegetarian appetizers to try as we were deciding what to order off the menu. My kids decided to order Indian dishes like the chicken masala, whereas, I decided to try their momo dish that came highly recommended. The taste is similar to Chinese dumplings. I ordered it with sauce so it's served on a beautiful platter at your table. The side of jasmine rice is okay to share and complimented the dishes. A very nice discovery!

Absolutely mind blowing food. We ordered chicken jhol momos and vegetable chowmein and both of them tasted so good. It felt homemade and fresh. Definitely will be ordering more items from the menu and I recommended others to enjoy their delicious food too.

Ordered veg. Biryani and samosa chat. Biryani tasted so bad that I did not eat more then a spoon. Oh wait! they did not even gave spoon or napkin. I have to bring from my kitchen. Not to mention that Biryani Was yesterday’s leftover.Next morning It smelled so bad even though I kept it in Fridge. Also Don’t order Samosa Chat, coz they don’t know how to make it. Hella spicy and all I got was,2 samosa and on top of it, yogurt, red chilly powder and chat masala thats all I saw and tasted. Even Burger King or Taco Bell does better job then this restaurant. Will never go back again.I would GIVE NEGATIVE STAR if I could.

The food was fresh and very tasty. The veg momo's are homemade and very different than what you find in bay area.

Best food ever. Be it ghar ka khana ( home-made food)
I rarely leave a review but beware!!! You’re honestly better off eating McDonald’s or Taco Bell than this.Wasted $71 for what I don’t know.$16 for two small pieces of chicken is criminal!!!$8 for burnt onion pakora when it was supposed to be mixed pakora.$13 for Palak Paneer which was watered down spinach and paneer.$13 for Eggplant which was mediocre at best.$6 for French fries that we undercooked$8 for garlic naan (at least it was soft ?♂️?♂️)

I had been to this restaurant once prior to my experience today, this was back when they first opened so before the new management and menu! I hadn't had Indian food in some time so I decided to try them out again and wow. To start, there was a customer in the restaurant yelling and racially harassing literally everyone and nothing was done. I witnessed a pair eat a few bites of their food and leave without taking the food to go and I believe it was a combination of the rude customer and not liking their food as I heard them making comments... it was very jarring to have a customer yelling in such a small space and saying disrespectful and racist things with not a peep from the manager or staff. When I did get my food, the racist customer was thankfully gone by then and the head chef/manager(?) gave me a quiet sorry as I headed out. For the food, it was just alright. I was expecting more as I did smell seasoning, but overall it was just okay, seemed like something was missing?! Also I am not one to usually care when seasonings and such - that won't damange a tooth - are left in the food as there were bay leaves and such in my meal that I just picked out, but I bit into what I think was a date (or something) with the seed still present and I'm glad I didnt bite down too hard; it would be nice if harder seasonings are removed to be cautious as I did also find other hard seasonings too...Also there was hair in the raita so I just did not eat that with my meal unfortunately. Overall the staff seem like pleasant people, but the inaction with that rowdy customer and the issues with the food combined do not compel me to return and I don't think I will as that's not an environment I'd feel safe returning to.

Staff is fantastic. Momos delicious. Chicken Tikka masala very flavorful Mutton Curry savory I stumbled on this place by accident due to an Uber eats mixup. I'll absolutely be returning.

Best momos I've ever had! Paneer Tikka Masala is very creamy and yummy, Yellow Daal Tadka was surprisingly delicious, not an ordinary one, full of veggies and spices. Glad this place opened in Hayward, will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone in the area.
