(Translated by Google) Their prices are very high. And I think I wouldn't mind paying for it, but the bread doesn't have the flavor for that price.?$4 for a shell.(Original)Sus precios son muy altos.Y creo que no me importaría pagarlo, pero el pan no tiene el sabor por ese precio.?$4 por una concha.

Omg the best hidden gem in all of Hayward. Great place and bakery. I like to come here for the cake slices. And coffee.

I am a huge fan of pan dulce, however It is hard to find really good stuff outside of Southern California. I have tried a lot of places, some in san jose being good. The problem is that many of these places are good at some things, and bad at others. My old-standby are conchas. The conchas I got from here we so dry they were inedible. I am not sure if they were overcooked, but the outside was soft and the interior was so dry it was crumbly. Conchas are basically the defacto-standard on pan dulce, so they lost some points from that. HOWEVER They do have an excellent selection of empanadas. They had creme, strawberry, peach, and pumpkin. I got the pumpkin one and the edge was a tad dry but the center was great. I overlooked the dry edge because the center was so moist, the juxtaposition of the textures were quite harmonius. Their macaroons were also awesome. Slightly crisped on the bottom and very chewy. They also do not accept card. Not unexpected with a small mom and pop place.

Delicious pan dulce and friendly staff. They bake their bread daily and you get that warm fuzzy feeling when you take a bite out of that concha... oh i love pan dulce. I am not quite sure but it seems like this panaderia is family owned and it's been there for as long as i can remember. Anytime I am in the neighborhood and my calorie count can afford it, i make sure to stop by and get my favs here.

Yelp brought me here and I was scared to enter the store as the store looked empty and on a Sunday afternoon the parking lot was filled with people who stared at you with one of them badgering us to buy him bus tickets. I am usually the kind that would've given him the money, but he was rude and nasty in the way he spoke and I was kinda weirded out. Once I entered the store, I was surprised that the only thing on sale was the tres leche cake. At 1.5 per slice, the cake was moist, fresh and tasty. I am not sure if it was because it was Sunday afternoon or it's the location of the bakery that we had the experience we had. However, I recommend you brave a trip here as the Tres Leche is totally worth it..

A really good Mexican Bakery located in the heart of the Ghetto hood. They have good tasting cakes , empanadas and cookies. Very affordable and delicious. It's best to come here when it's daylight for the unsavory character of people comes out at night, Thank God cops frequent this neighborhood so it's actually safe. BRING CASH for this place does not believe in Plastics. Bring a fellow eating buddy OR a can of mace, a pair of Nunchuks & your Kung-Fu grip just in case you might need it, it might come in handy.

I was a little dissappointed when I walked in and the place was totally empty. No customers and no employees either. Once an employee came out, I asked for a slice of the tres leches cake which I am a fan of. It was REALLY good and I would eat it everyday if I could.

Let me start off by saying I am the whitest white girl there is... Almost translucent actually so I do not Habla Espanol. I took 4 years in High School but I don't remember much of it. I have an employee who was leaving and his favorite cake is the Tres Leches. I wanted to make sure I got him one from an "authentic" bakery as I have had them from Safeway before and they were so terrible they don't even deserve to be called cakes... So I was reading the Yelp reviews and called this bakery. She didn't speak English and kept asking me to come in and order so I did that evening. As one reviewer commented, yes it is in the ghetto and yes there were some very unsavory folks hanging out in the parking lot. I would recommend not going at night, during the day it's fine. So I did have some communication issues but we eventually figured out what I wanted/needed. I placed the order and wrote on a piece of paper exactly what I wanted the cake to say so there would be no mistakes. Word To The Wise - BRING CASH... They do not take Credit Cards and they DO ask for a Deposit on their cakes. My employee was so happy to get this cake and let me just say this was an amazing cake that was super moist with a lot of flavor. Everyone loved it. I also picked up some of the amazing cookies that were in there and I have no idea what they are called but everything I picked was fresh and had a great flavor. I would recommend this bakery again for their Tres Leches and their cookies. They even had some yummy fruit filled empanadas that were really good!

We go here mostly for our favorite cinnamon cookies ever, but have tried other things each trip. The cookies are drier then some, but very crumbly which works really well for the cinnamon and peanut butter ones. They do not have soft chewy cookies. We tried a couple of their rolls and found them to be fairly dry. The prices are pretty cheap and the service is friendly though, so all in all, we recommend giving it a try.

I had the worst experience here! I never had a bad experience ordering a bday cake until I came here! I wanted to order something different for my sister's birthday and looked on Yelp and found out about this bakery. I came to check it out and it is in the ghetto! Before purchasing the whole cake I got an opportunity to purchase a slice of their tres leche and I thought it was not bad. I do not mind goin to the ghetto to get a great cake. But this place is ghetto and the cake was horribly made! I told the guy that took my order exactly what I wanted the cake to say and how I wanted it made. When I picked it up on Sunday, I was so dissapointed!!!!!!!! On the cake it says," Have Happy bday Hong! E luv u! Some letters were missing and it was written sloppy! I could not read it at all! Why wasn't it saying," Have a Happy Bday Hong! we luv u!" I told the lady that worked there and she did not understand me so I asked for the manager and he was so nasty I could not believe it! He told me there's nothing he can do about it and if I do not like it then I can leave the cake and go somewhere else! How can someone be so heartless especially on the day of my sister's bday and tell me to go somewhere else?Who does that???????? I really wanted to throw the cake at his face and walk out! But I know that I could not find another baker that could finish making a cake in a couple hours. I really did not want to ruin my sister's bday. Anyways, talking to him was like talking a wall he was so rude and did not care about anything I was telling him! It gets worse....when it was time to eat the cake. The cake was so dried on the top it tasted awful. I told him specificly that I wanted it extra moist too!! These people do not listen at all!!! Please do yourself a favor and do not come here!!!!!!!! Unless you want to stress yourself out. There are plenty of other bakeries out there that has better tres leche cakes and way better service!!!!
