I got the fried chicken w/ Mac & cheese. My sister ordered the ribs w/ grits. We loved it so much we ordered take out again the same week. Their take out option is easy & quick. Great job Playt! Support your local businesses. Support your black owned businesses. So much so, i forgot to take pictures!!

Wow. Just wow. Exceptionally awful. Overpriced frozen food. $20 for a microwaved freezer burger with fries. They blasted Justin Bieber and other 2010s pop hits to give you an idea of the ambiance. When I first looked at the menu, I was under the impression that the food would be gourmet... Boy, was I surprised by the insipid "playts." Never again.

When I tell y'all I had flashbacks to my grandma in the kitchen cooking when I was a kid. I finally patronized this restaurant and ordered to go. The owner was so nice and sweet! He offered us seats to sit indoors as it was cold and we were taking our food to go. I ordered greens, Mac and cheese, pork ribs and catfish, EVERYTHING was delicious! We were given a free dessert under the condition that my boyfriend and I put our phones down and talk to each other , which led to a good conversation on our end. I will definitely recommend this place to others and I will be back!

My second time here. First time during pandemic. Seating outside. Mario the server redid our drinks after our complaints which was nice. We had the short ribs (no bone?) and fried catfish. Food was tasty. Second drinks were better.

I love the service I went last Saturday around 9 pm there was this guy's looking for outside chairs and table for us the service 100 % and plus they have live outside music so was like we went to the club I be back soon

This location used to be Bijou which I was kind of sad to see go but Playt is a welcome replacement, the food is delicious! I've had the shrimp and grits and catfish and my friend had the fried chicken, everything was yummy. My complaint is the portion size for the price of some of the plates. Another time I got the crab and shrimp ravioli, while again delicious was a very small portion and I was still very hungry which is disappointing for a higher priced plate of food. My boyfriend had the same complaint about the steak. The cocktails are good, there's also a non alcoholic mule which I became obsessed with while I was pregnant! I'll definitely return here, just not when I'm starving.
