Took over an hour to get my order. Continued to go in to check. Man was not wearing a mask. Didn't apologize and didn't answer the phone when I was calling to ask when the order would be ready. Completely unprofessional. No one else was in the store.
The food is regularly well prepared and yummy, workers provides awesome service. I liked how clean it is and mood. I highly recommend this spot.
Wow! I can't believe service could be so incompetent and rude. Now I see why no one is ever in there, thought it was odd that a Subway would close at 9pm, I guess they not get return customers. I finally decided to try this Subway since there was a poster for the new Tikka Paneer sub in the window, which looked great. 1:00 on Sunday, March 1st, no else was there. I walked in and the woman working just walked in the back for a while without saying anything. Finally came back out and mumbled something. Finally ordered, but she just kept mumbling things like "cheese?" "toasted?" ... had to have her repeat everything. Then for the final thing she asks what sauce I want. I asked what is it supposed to come with? She points to an unlabeled bottle of a green sauce, then picks it up to show me it's empty. This is the cilantro sauce that supposed to be on it. So she asks if I want chipotle sauce instead! WHAT?? So she made the whole sub, without mentioning they were out of the sauce. I said I don't want it then, no apology ever, she just mumbled something and started cutting the sub as I walked how. Really surreal, that someone could be so miserable and rude. Incredible.
Just don't go on the weekends when there's that dumb employee working who serves stale cookies, can't follow simple directions, and makes shitty sandwiches. She always has stuff not restocked, cookies burnt, the place is a shit show whenever she's in there on the weekends. Not a healthy place to eat on the weekends as she doesn't wash her hands, uses knives for anything and everything. She needs to be one of those people that pick up garbage all day, the Clean Street Team in downtown Hayward or something, but she shouldn't be making sandwiches let alone running a shop. Stay away. UPDATE: ended up with food poisoning same day.
I admire this place! They have high class dishes, their menu is nice, The chef in that place is well trained, I like a lot tasting all their food. The food is consistently tasty, the service towards the clients is helpful. I visit often this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. Highly recommended.
I came to this subway for dinner just now. There are no business hours posted. The door was locked and the person inside was cleaning. I checked online to see what their business hours were and both on google and here it says they should be open until 9pm but here I am standing outside at 7:09 PM and they are completely closed. Not impressed. I wouldnt complain if it said they close at 7pm on their window even if it was a hand posted sign. But for google to show they should be open for another two hours? That's a load of bull.
The signs on the door say they are open until 9:30pm. Google says 9pm. Either way though, I go here at 8:30 and they are closed. Someone is there, you knock, they don't care in the slightest. If you call they answer and say they are closed. Management should really do something about employees stealing time like this.

Subway on Hayward Blvd in Hayward, CA. They may be up the hill but service has gone down hill! I live less than a mile from here and I work at CSU East Bay so this is often my choice for a healthy dinner. I dont know if its new owners or management but I have had three horrible experiences so I am strking out on this place. 1st time line to the door and only one person helping who did not seem happy to be there while the other person peeked out from the back. I am skipping the second encounter only to say everytime I go no one smiles they are not customer service oriented like the former crew so the third time for lack of space here I went last Friday 8/27 at 8:30p they close at 9:30p. The door was locked and the employee was behind the counter putting food away. I saw a customer there sitting at a table so i said is the door stuck the customer or friend made a gesture hand to neck like you are cut off. I said are you closed its only 8:30 again the customer said shes closing early. The employee just looked at me with a scowl on her face never smile and never communicated with me. I was having a sleepover for my kids and did not want pizza so i drove down the hill to the one at Santa clara where i got my three footlongs and i will be going there from now on. I will also instruct my colleagues at CSU East Bay to do the same. I am having an event catered this weekend by that location as well! Dr. Daminna Standfield
The employee working was unenthusiastic. When they added the veggies, they didn't put too much. What surprised me the most was they closed 15 minutes before the actual closing time. When someone tried to open the door, the employee wouldn't open the door. The food was fine. The service can be worked on.
This was and ok location to stop for Breakfast.
Suppose to open at 8 am. 9:30 am still closed.
I bought a rotisserie chicken from the subway by calse said Hayward university as I was eating my sandwich I realize there was a piece of long black Hair inside the sandwich and I want to talk to the guy who worked at the time the time was 8:05 PM on Tuesday, July 30/2019 he was rude and he said there was nothing he can do and he said he will talk to the owner I think he was the owner and he didn't care about any customer I would never go back to this subway ever again and I was suggest if anyone who buys sandwiches from the subway please check the sandwiches before you take a bite.
