Great sushi, fast service. Good quality. Recommend for sushi in the East Bay around Hayward area.

Been coming to this place for years!!! Not sure what happened, but there's definitely been changes. The quality of the food is not good. The regular items we would get don't taste the same. Sadly, we didn't want to finish out food and just threw it out. Waste of our money. Unlikely we will return.

The place is really a small place, When we walked in it took time for the people to warm up to us they looked at us like we walked into their house hahaha I was confused. They stood around drinking their coffee and finally after 10 minutes I asked for water they gave me water no ice nothing and there was soap bubbling in the glass so I asked can I get a clean cup with ice please? This place is pretty pricey!! They looked like they get a lot of take out orders maybe they should stick to that. The food was ok but sanitary issues has me like i wont come back, a cook was in the bathroom (The only bathroom) for 30 minutes then comes out touching everything no gloves another cook scratching his face ears hair and in the kitchen patting rice down not washing their hands Im not trying to get sick, so its a no for me, There was 1 server super nice after she warmed up to us was good.and the food was ok just pricey for what you get but I ll give 3 stars.

Good service. The waiter was friendly and attentive to me and my 2 year old needs. Both beef and chicken teriyaki were tender and flavorful. The baked sushi (Lion and Bay) were a hit on our table. Recommend :)

This is our go to sushi spot! The ambience is a bit lacking since it's very small, so we usually take it to go, but the sushi is fantastic!!!

Great sushi, fresh and friendly service. It's super tiny though but that's my only complaint! My hubby and I live down the street and have been here multiple times. It's our go-to for sushi in our area.

Went for the first time with my favorite locals and let me tell you this spot is my new go to for Sushi. It's small and welcoming if you want to have date night or a solo meal, according to my friend they opened an outside dining area and it's just the best. As a plus size mujer I always look at the chairs and they are confortable. Coming in there was a waiting line for orders to go. We dined in,inside the actual restaurant and the service was amazing. Even though there were a lot of orders they quickly took our orders and served us water. I ordered a Sushiland Role and it was bomb. At first I didn't understand why it had salad but let me tell you it's now my favorite. I also ordered a lion king role and it was also very delicious. I unfortunately didn't take pictures but it wouldn't have made it justice. Definitely coming again. Definitely Haywards hidden treasures in my opinion.

Quality/Quantity - SushiLand Roll - A MUST order. We usually try to order the dish with the business name on it, and this did NOT fail! It's like having a poke salad on top of a tempura roll! Las Vegas Roll - Similar to a rainbow roll, but with different sauces. 49ers Roll - My daughter really liked this roll. I usually do as well, but for some reason I got a bad aftertaste. It might have been the rind of the lemon slices? Chicken Teriyaki Donburi - Good, we saved this to eat the next day as we (my daughter) misjudged how large the rolls were, especially the SushiLand Roll. The donburi was still good the following day. This also came with miso soup & a side of green salad. Atmosphere - Very small dining area, but it looked like they built an extension to seat double the amount of tables. Unfortunately the wait staff have to go outside and enter through a separate door to serve the customers outside. On a cold day like today, that would affect the temperature of the food... Good size parking lot, plenty of parking. Service - Approximately 7+ employees working. 2 wait staff, 2 sushi bar employees, and 3 employees in the kitchen. But 1 of the wait staff had to walk outside to enter the other room, and I am sure that really affects productivity. They both also had to take care of their to-go orders and phone orders. In summary, you need at least another person to handle your "dinner" rush. Price - $68 + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2012, I am not sure why we have NOT heard of you before? Hope to be back soon.

This place was good. I use to come here a lot. But one time I received cold sushi. I went back and the latina chick thought I was trying to get free Sushi. Like B you don't even own this restaurant. She gave me attitude and replaced my sushi. But the food has gone down the drain, quality wise. Never been back and will never go back. The location is small and hood too.

Visiting here the other night for the first time in years. There are a variety of sushi places in the east bay, and we were looking for something quick and convenient. This restaurant is located right off the 238 freeway. It is very small inside with 4-5 tables, so when busy don't expect to sit down. I noticed most people were picking up food to go. We were able to sit because it wasn't busy. What we ordered: Appetizers: -shrimp tempura, edamame, miso soup Rolls: -lion king (baked) -California -49er -raiders roll Drinks: -Nigori -Kirin beer Overall the fish tasted fresh and the rolls were made well. My favorite was the lion king. It was warm and delicious. I really wanted to love the raiders roll, but the ratio of cream cheese to unagi and salmon was a little off. I like cream cheese but not that much. The 49er is a classic California roll topped with salmon and a lemon slice, very fresh and light. The tempura shrimp was good, but we honestly ordered too much food so I wasn't able to finish that. The miso soup was 10/10!! It's been a while since I've had a really good miso soup and they didn't disappoint. Nigori sake is cold and unfiltered. My go to when wanting drinks at a sushi place! The one here is pretty mild and tasted good. It wasn't as sweet as other nigoris I've had and I enjoyed that. Overall, I would visit again when craving sushi in the east Bay Area!

Loved the taste, quality is acceptable. Bento Boxes were well maintained, edible meat with tasty sauces . Sashimi was fresh and cut fresh.
