From someone who has been to mexico several times throughout her life i've never found a taco place/stand that serves tacos as good as the ones in mexico until i've been to el amigo. Prices are more than reasonable and the food is delicious. The couples that owns the truck are the sweetest. 10/10 recommend

Best taco truck in Hayward! The super burritos are hella good. The staff is friendly and they do a great job, fast service. Great menu plenty to choose from. Food is better than a lot of Mexican restaurants. Always consistent.

Service was fast, tacos were excellent. Chicharron was too hard for the super burrito, will try another meat next time. Definitely be back for the Tacos again :D watch out for the red sauce, spiiiiicy

We love that they have Tripas, chicharron, and everyone is friendly and most of all the food is consistently amazing, never had a bad meal from this delicious authentic truck and I’m pretty picky !!! We will follow them wherever they go?

Tacos El Amigo is good stuff. They are a taco truck parked at the Double Time gas station and easy to spot. The gas station has extra parking on the side so ordering is not a problem. I ordered a variety of tacos from them and my favorite by far is the lengua. The meat was so soft and just delicious; I highly recommend it. The carnitas was pretty standard and will be just fine if that's your thing but I personally just like lengua much more. The al pastor though was a bit disappointing for me. I always remember how the al pastor tastes at the famous Tacos El Gordos in San Diego and Las Vegas so many places don't live up to those expectations. It's probably a solid choice still but again, I much prefer the lengua. Will definitely come back and try some other meat options next time.
Yo this one hit the spot I got a super asada burrito and asada tacos and super carnitas burritos...the flavor was there all around to the meat to the rice to spicy salsa I got..Great food!!!
