Ordered the tempura udon and karaage. The broth for udon was too salty for my liking. The karaage was fried so it’s tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. I would come back for karaage. I will not be eating udon here. Service is not friendly but that’s expected for Asian-run business.

One of my favorite Japanese spots in Hayward. Kinda hidden on a side street.I love that they let me order salmon sashimi in the bento box, and I can have it with salmon teriyaki for even more salmon! Very tasty. They've got a double salmon sushi roll that my 7yo daughter loves, because I've apparently gotten her hooked on eating too much salmon as well haha. My sushi-disliking husband doesn't mind coming here either because they've got a variety of other things for him, like beef teriyaki and udon bowls. The service is pretty minimal, but not unfriendly. The server just tends to disappear and is pretty quiet. They're part of the Together For Hayward program, so if you can snag one of the limited-time deals on those gift certificates, the already low prices here are even better.

I brought my family here for a quick bite. The kids wanted sushi so we wanted to try a new spot near home. It was an early evening, the place was not crowded at all, few small families enjoying their meals. When we entered the waitress wasn't too welcoming, just pointed to a table when she asked how many in our party. We sat and only ordered sushi. The sushi was pretty good. Fish tasted good, decent size rolls amd they looked great as well. The waitress seemed annoyed, she was the only one serving maybe it was an off day for her. We'll probably give this place another shot. Worth checking out if your in the area

I don’t know why the lady (waitress) is too mean and rude..she is not even trying to be nice.. food is good but BAD really BAD customer services. We trying to be patient with her but she makes us feel very uncomfortable. She roles his eyes when you ask for something. If this place really want to continue in business they have to pay attention what their customers are saying. Also, why are you charging for the containers to take your leftovers home? Please do better. I will never come back.

The sushi here is really tasty. I've come here a few times. The service is not so friendly but she's not rude neither. I've ordered several rolls, salmon bento box and saki. Anytime I am in Hayward and want sushi I would come here.

The foods are great and we love it. I ordered spider roll and another baked salmon roll, which is not the best but the spider roll is great. The price is pretty decent as well. Would be back again one day.
