The highlight of the tasting was it was a very nice tasting room and Martin was a very knowledgeable host. We just called and didn't ask what the cost was so a little surpised at $50 per person to taste and the cost of the wines was a little over the top. It was one of the first places I have ever tasted at that I didn't finish 1 of the 6 tastings! Disappointing to say the least.

My wife & I absolutely loved our experience this afternoon with Sean! Highly recommend, all the wines out of this world.

Great tasting and knowledgeable staff!

Martin out hospitality host was incredible. Vast knowledge of Ramey and the industry. Learned a lot and left with a new appreciation for the family, culture and their wines. Would recommend their wines without hesitation.

If you think you don't like chardonnay, you haven't had their chardonnay; all the wine was quite good, but the chardonnay made us rethink what the varietal could be. You'll want to write home to your parents to tell them you are moving in with the chardonnay and planning your new life together. When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with a chardonnay, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. No joke. It's that good.

Some of the best wines we tasted on our trip trough California. Both, the reds and the whites were stunning. We definitely recommend stopping here for a tasting. Best thing: we can buy these wines back home in Switzerland as well!

Interesting wine, lingers on the palette but in very light way...better for chicken or fish.I would not recommend for solid steak or Italian dishes. Just sayn

Amazing tasting with Martin! This was one of the best wine tastings we've ever had. Not only are all of the wines ultra-premium, we also really enjoyed getting geeky with Martin and learning so much more about all that goes into each bottle. **Unlike so many formulaic tasting rooms, their approach to tastings is genuine and personal, so you need to make an appointment. It is a real wine tasting and not intended for casual drinkers who just want to get tipsy....Thank you, Martin and Ramey for an amazing visit!

Amazing winery and top-notch staff. We visited in November, but did not book ahead. Paul Smith took time out of his day to give us a very thorough tasting tour. We were blown away not only by his boundless hospitality, but his knowledge as well. One of our top winery experiences ever!

The tasting room certainly won’t wow anybody. However, if you want a personalized tasting (ours was one on one) of quality Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, go here. We’ll worth the cost of admission.

Not what you'd expect to find in an industrial park, Ramey Wine Cellars will definitely surprise and delight you in all things wine! It's only a few minutes from downtown Healdsburg, but it's worth the visit- trust us. The warm welcome you receive from the friendly and knowledgeable staff, plus the wines are A+ in our book! The chardonnays are light and crisp. The Cabernet Sauvignon is just perfect to sip- balanced, fruity, and a slight pepper taste to finish. The tasting room and winery are all part of an industrial warehouse David & Carla Ramey have built on their own, without investors...so awesome. A definite must stop if you're planning your next wine tasting trip!
