This place was a hot mess on my visit Thursday evening.
A group that was over severed from happy hour kept being served despite being disruptive and vaping inside.
The bartender mainly stood around whenever he wasn't slowly pouring a drink.
A guy proudly bragged to the drunk group he just bought his dog a service dog vest to bring him more places.
My waitress was pleasant but she was obviously a bit checked out given the vibe.
This is a dive, not was I was imagining as a brewery. Fine if you know what it is.
Great spot to drop in.
Had a few good beers and pizza was tasty.
Sat at the bar. Friendly staff
Would go back.
Great beer, great view, great food. The Thai chicken pizza was great. The beer had the most orange flavor, I have ever had.
Good food great service
Went and had dinner and drinks, was a nice bar with plenty of TVs and a really nice outdoor patio overlooking Huntington Beach. Food was really good and service was great
Great place to enjoy food and drinks with family and friends
Loved the house made seltzer. Good beer too!
Service was a little slow, beer and food were good.
Saw USC beat LSU here and the bartender hooked me up with a free beer.
Place is upstairs and lively!
We enjoyed our time here. The staff was welcoming, helpful and beyond helpful. The young gentleman saw we were looking for a table on the patio, took my name down and made sure we got a table.
Now to the food. We had a steak salad that was very good. The steak was cooked to our liking, we had a kids cheese pizza that we good and we had calamari. I included the calamari picture because this is where this place needs to work hard on. The bed of chopped, dried, visibly "tired" lettuce held wafer thin, and an incredibly small amount of what may possibly be called calamari in some weird universe. This can greatly be improved and I would love to pay a few $ more.
Restaurantji Recommends
Service was good for a Sunday. Pretzel cheese needs work. Tastes really fake and is a weird color. Beer was sub par, but I guess it is a beach town. Maybe try harder???
ONE OF THE BEst restaurants in Huntington deathly recommend coming here. The staff are so welcoming and help you with anything and kind and the food is so delicious for a great price!
Has a great view. Nice inside. Was not busy during lunchtime and food service was extremely slow. Order a flight and everything tasted standard/drinkable. No house beer?! Food was not good at all. Chicken was dry, sandwiches was dry, bowls flavor overtaken by the beans, fries were one of the worst I have eaten, had to ask for condiments. Salad was safe. Overall, just disappointing and would not recommend to my friends or family.
I give 3 stars for food. I came on a Saturday with 4 friends and they seated us pretty quick! This restaurant and bar has outdoor and indoor seating. You get a good view of Main Street when seated outdoors. I ordered the cowboy bowl which I mainly ordered for it’s steak, just to be disappointed by how much fat and chewy it was. We also got the California Sandwich and pizza to share. The fries that came with the sandwich were also not good… they were hard.. hopefully with this review they focus on kitchen a little more. Additionally, my waitress was great but she had other tables to take care of and we had to keep asking the hostess for help.. it’s a nice spot for a drink tho!
Visited early on a Thursday Evening. They had Pizza for the weekly special, but decided to order the BBQ hickory burger and my wife ordered the fish and chips I substituted the salad for fries. The salad had a lot of other veggies and cheese. Burger was huge and tasted great. The fish and chips were also great. Only let down was the number of local drafts available (although 805 on tap is nice). We will be back.
